The Enigmatic Knights: Darkest Before the Dawn

occ: Its maddening...I love everyone's stories but I hate the cliffhangers.

Rowen spun around to see who was running toward him just in time to see Amaya before she hugged him. "I thought you were...gone," she said, her voice full of relief. She let him go and gasped. Gashes covered his chest and arms and he looked dead on his feet. Amaya stepped back a little to give him some breathing room.

"I'm still here," he reassured her with a grim smile. "Just got banged up a little. Now we'd better get going before more monsters come."

Just then a strange man appeared out of a haze of darkness. He ignored the two kids at first and looked around. "This world does not hold what I seek," he announced to no one in particular. "Completely useless. It will fade into the darkness like all the rest."

"Are you the one responsible for this?" Amaya demanded. She started to approach the man, but she felt Rowen hold her back; a silent reminder that she had no weapon and would have a disadvantage in a fight.

"Possibly," the stranger answered. He then looked at Rowen and shot him a malevolent grin. "Funny...I had thought you would be one, but you're just a weakling." The man held up his hand and out of shot a powerful blast of electricity at Rowen, but the boy dodged it and charged toward the man with his sword drawn. Amaya was about to rush forward to help, but she was tackled by a Neoshadow and pinned to the ground. "Get off of me!" she yelled, but the thing forced its clawed hand into her chest and started to pull at something out of her. Amaya quickly grabbed a hold of its arm. She knew if she let go, she was done for. There was a sickening thud to her left, and she looked in that direction in time to see a body fall. Her eyes widened at the sight of it.

The stranger walked over to Amaya and looked down at her with a smirk. "Enjoy being a Heartless," he said, vanishing into a portal of darkness. As if on cue, the Neoshadow tried harder to remove her heart. Sudenly, in a small flash of light a heavy object appeared in her hand. She used the object to stab through the Heartless. After it was gone, she shakily stood up and looked at the object. A key...but also a sword. She then looked at the body on the ground. A small piece of something instantly broke inside her and her whole body was wracked with pain. "Ro-Rowen." She fell back to the ground and blacked out.

Amaya awoke with a start and looked around suddenly. It all came back to her...Her father...The monsters invading...The strange man...And the key-shaped weapon she still grasped in her hand. She looked at her surroundings. The world had gotten worse since she had fallen unconscious. She then looked over to her left and saw a boy not much older than herself stabbed through the chest with a sword. She could swear that she never saw him before in her life, but something told her she had. At that moment, a portal opened in front of her and out of it stepped a single knight holding a large Keyblade. He glanced around like the strange man had, sighing. "I'm too late," he said, obviously ashamed. "This world is already at its end." He looked at Amaya thoughtfully and the weapon in her hand. "You're the only one left." She nodded. "You're welcome to come with me," he offered simply.

"Yes, I'll go," she answered. But she didn't move. Her attention was still fixated on the dead boy's face. "There will be time to mourn the your loved ones later," the knight reminded her gently.

"I don't even know him," she responded flatly. Slowly, she joined the knight at the portal and stepped through.

 

OOC:This has nothing to do with the storyline whatsoever but, I have an idea................(this mainly applies to Doyxc, but anyone else can try) How about we make a tribute vid to the Enigmatic Knights? Make a video with clips from the Secret Endings and the boss fight and have it be a tribute to the knights? Anyone else think its a good idea?

 

ooc: That is a very good idea... If we pester Doxyc long enough he'll probably make one.

 

I love you 13th! jk, but that does sound kickin!

 

OOC:Good, then its settled.............Its time we pester Doyxc for a tribute vid.......But, what shall be the music of the vid? I think that should be a group decidsion.........considering the vid is about our group........Ok, first we probably should first pick what kind of music first............

Personally, I think either KH music or rock, maybe even techno.

OOC:Yes, I agree.........as shown, its on the very bottom of the list..............Rap wouldn't suit the knights at all......................In my opnion, Metal or Rock usually=Bad***ness.......Which is exactly what the knights are......

OOC:Has anyone else decided on what the music shall be?

ooc: ok first of all i can pester doxyc tomarro if he is at skool and how about three days grace never to late...i had an isea for that song and i think it would work out good...i would say linkin park but doxyc hates them...so yea

 

OOC:I think Likin Park is pretty good..............but there have so many AMVs made with their music its not even funny...........its possible he just doesn't want to do an AMV with their music for that reason................

 

How about the song called "The River" by Good Charlotte feat. Matt Shadows and Synyster Gates? I think that is a good choice. Just giving song ideas. Has anybody heard Dragonforce?

 

Yes, I have heard of Dragonforce, specificly, Fury of the Storm.............that song is insane............but, a good choice..........That is a likely canidate...

 

ooc: The three I were thinking from Dragonforce were Operation Ground and Pound, Fury of the Storm, and Through the Fire and Flames. I love Herman Li's solos.

The sun was stronger than ever. Its radiant rays gave light to the area; this was a the schools natural clock. Some students were waking up; while some of the other students had already gotten up. The students resided within the academy; a castle if you'd like to call it. It was at least 200 ft in height,400 ft in width, and 400 ft in length.

The academy was flooded with students walking around; heading towards breakfast. The students wore normal clothes; like a normal school would allow. When you graduated from the academy, that was when you'd earn your armor. For now, the students wore a color coated band on their wrist; in order to tell apart the freshmans from the Sophmores and etc.

This was an academy for those who were willing to put their lives on the line to save others from the darkness. These people were considered "Knights". Of course, you don't really become full fledged knights until you graduate. Anyway, a knights weapon is called a Keyblade. These weapons were forged by the light. They are the only means of fighting off the darkness and saving the worlds.

The students in this academy are taught about everything. From normal school electives to knowing the difference between a heartless and a nobody.

In one of the dorm rooms, a young boy around the age of 13, could be seen getting dressed. He was almost done.

"Just one more shoe...and.....there we go." the boy muttered as he inspected his shoes. It was none other than Hakumei. His cliothing consisted of a regular black shirt, baggy khaki pants, two belts crossing each other around his waist(Like rings), and his normal grey sneakers. Other than that, this was his everyday clothing; excluding the copper coated band on his right wrist.

Hakumei stood near the window; his mind in a reverie. "Why do I keep having these strange dreams...?" he thought as he leaned against the wall; still viewing the outside.

A sudden knock on the door brought him back to reality. He walked up to it and opened to the door. On the other side was a 13 year old girl, about his height, was standing there. Long straight azure hair, royal blue eyes, and a nice body(xD). She wore a brown tangtop, khaki colored skirt, and black school shoes. She was the first person she got to know when h first arrived in this school.

"Uhh....Mizu....what're you doing here?" he asked in embarassment as he leaned his head forward, going past the door frame, and looked around.

"You know this is the guys territory! Girls aren't allowed!" he muttered in a stern tone.

She scowled at him. "I just dropped by to deliver you this book." she explained as she reached into her bookbag for the book.

"Here." She extended her arm forward; book in hand. Hakumei's eyes widened as he read the title.

"No way.....you...you found it!? I thought that the book was lost?" he said, surprised that she found it from a huge library. He extended his hand and was about to grab the book when, all of a sudden, she recoiled her arm.

"Ah Ah Ah.... You didn't say thank you." she teased as she wiggled the book in front of his face. Hakumei grew more and more embarassed. A sweat drop formed around his temple.

"Alright! Thank you. Now can I have the book....please?" This was hard for him. His dignity was at stake. She noticed his expression and decided to let him off easy. She handed him the book and waved goodbye as she began to walk towards the exit.

He sighed in relief and closed the door. The book he's been wanting to read was finally in his hands. His eyes wobbled in happiness.

"I've....I've finally got it! I can finally read The Ansem Reports!" he shouted in happiness as he jumped up. Suddenly, all of this came to an end. He scowled for a moment and muttered to himself. "What time is it..?" He turned towards his clock to realize it was 9:02 a.m.

"AWWW CRAP!!!!! I MISSED BREAKFAST AND CLASS IS ABOUT TO BEGIN IN 2 MINUTES!!!!!" he shouted as he grabbed his bookback; placing the book inside; and ran out the door.

 

ooc: how about half the amv has the song Navras from the matrix 3, its awesome. then how about the second part of it has the song still waiting by sum41,or same direction b y hoobastank
