The Elementals: Part 2

She walked over to Serin and Mirnash and told them where they could get something to eat if they wanted and where to sleep.

 

He turned to Kellan and said "Good night." He closed the door behind him.

 

" Night." She said. She made sure everyone was settled before she went to her own room.

 

Tim lay down in the bed. He thought about everything that has happened today.

 

She walked over to a small table and picked up a painted picture of her and Eric. She just stared at it sitting on her bed.

 

He closed his eyes but he couldn't fall asleep.

 

One tear rolled down her cheek. " I promised I wouldn't cry anymore, I'm over that." She said wiping the tear from her eye and putting the picture back.

 

He opened his eyes and sat up.

 

She layed down on her bed staring at the ceiling.

 

He decided that instead of sleeping, he would freeze himself until day.

 

Sleep finaly took over her. She woke up before dawn and grabbed her picture and walked outside, making sure no one heard her. She walked down the hall and out into the fields. She picked a couple flowers and then walked to a forest located on the other side of the fields. At the edge of the forest was a cross sticking out of the ground made out of two thick branches and some rope. She kneeled down in front of it and put her flowers in front of it. The wind blowing wildly.

 

"your awake" Mirnash said standing behind her

 

She looked back at him startled. " How did you get out here?" She asked.

 

"I followed you" he said, he looked tierd

 

" Oh." She said then she saw how tired he looked. " Not used to getting up this early huh?" She said standing up.

 

"yes I am" he turned away "I haven't slept a second" he said

 

" How come?" She asked.

 

"well... I have been thinking" he turned towards her "the guy who showed up yesterday, I felt that there were something fishy about him."

 

" Yeah Serin did seem a little odd." She said to him.

 

"I think we should be care full around him, I have a feeling Aldon has something to do with it" he said
