The Elementals Anniversary

Jasmine was walking through the forest when she saw two people. One was hurt. She ran over to them. "Are you ok" she asked.

 

"What do you care? Who are you?" he asked. He was more confused now than ever before.

 

"Im Jasmine" she said and smiled. "I was walking through the forest and I saw you hurt so I came to see if you were ok" She looked down. "Do you want me to leave?" she asked.

 

"Do what you want." he said.

 

She smiled. "I;m not leaving" she said. "You are hurt" she said and got out a vail out of her bag.

 

"I'm just a little sore." he said. He saw the vial and asked "What's that for?"

 

"You'll see in just a second" she said. She smelled it first, then she went to Heiro and looked at him. "This will help you with your soreness" she said. "Just a warning, its going to taste... unnatural." she said and gave it too him.

 

"What do you mean it's going to taste unnatural?" he asked. "You're not going to poison me are you?"

 

"Unatural meaning its going to taste like Cod liver oil, but with more liver in it" she said and put a finger to her chin. "And as for Poisioning you, if I wanted to I wouldn't have smelled it." she said. "Or otherwise, I would be dead right now" she said and looked down.

 

"Whatever." he said. "You going to have to give it to me since I'm too sore to move."

 

Jasmine went over to him and put the vial on his lips and poured the liquid into his mouth.

 

He coughed up some of the liquid. "This stuff is nasty!" he said.

 

"Reslly!" she said sarcastically and smiled. She then dragged him to a tree and lid his head on the tree. "You should be ok in a half hour" she said and sat in front of him.

 

"Why are you doing this? Why aren't you acting like the others?" he asked her. He was still confused. "I'm a freak and yet you're taking care of me, why?

 

"A Freak?" she said and scratched her head. "Who said you are a freak? Just because you have wings? Honestly, I think you are quite amazing" she said and smiled.

 

"Tell that to my parents who abandoned me when I was born." he said, looking away.

 

"Parents want there children to be perfect" she said. "And when they don't see your not perfect, they hurt inside. Someparents go the extra mile and just take you out of their lives because your diffrent" she said. "I know how you feel"

 

"Oh? How do you know how I feel?" he asked, getting angry. "Were you ever picked on because you had wings? Were you ever called a monster and had people running away and screaming? I don't think so!"

 

Jasmine got angrey. "How do I know? I was born with epilepsy. Every day I had sezures. My parents, they didn't do anything. They hated me because I was diffrent. They threw me in a garbage can when I was 9. I had to learn how to live by myself, to understand by myself." she yelled and tears began to roll down her cheek. She turned around. "I was useless" she said.

 

"Well at least you knew your parents." he muttered.
