The Elementals Anniversary

"Would you like to go back or stay here?" he asked.

 

She tried to think
"I was kinda hoping to jump off the cliff again," she said laughing.

 

"But I thought you were afraid of heights?" he asked.

 

She nodded.
"Yeah, I am afraid, but I've never done anything like that before, and it was so fun!" she said smiling.
"I loved that rush of adrenaline and i felt so pumped up," she said still laughing.

 

"So did I" he said, smiling.

 

"Then lets go jump!" she said smiling.

 

"Ladies first." he said, folding up his wings.

 

She smiled and walked towards the cliff. She made ice go beneath her feet to raise her all the way to the top. Once there, she made the ice vanish once she touched it. She smiled and tested to see quickly. She made a small ice ball that seemed pretty small. She thought it over.
"I'm not dehydrated enough," she said quietly trying to think.

 

He went up to the top with her. "What are you waiting for?" he asked.

 

"Umm, nothing," she said a little nervously. She looked down and saw how high they were. She didn't want to say anything, but she would probably crash or something.
"Okay," she said softly. She stood on the edge and took a deep breath.

 

"Don't worry." he said. "If you come close to crashing, I'll catch you."

 

She nodded and looked down once more.
"That's a relief," she said softly, hoping he didn't hear. She then took a big leap, feeling the adrenaline pumping again.

 

He leaped after her. He could hear and feel the rush of the wind.

 

Jade held her hand out and hoped to make an ice trail. At first she succeeded but only got to the halfway point of where she wanted it. After that, no more ice came from her hands and she began free falling. She closed her eyes and let out a yell.

 

Hiero held out his arms and grabbed her by the waist. He opened up his wings and flew them to safety.

 

She opened her eyes and saw the Hiero caught her. She held back her tears of fear and hugged him, feeling safer.

 

"It's okay." he said. "You're safe now." He kissed her forehead.

 

She started to cried and felt dizzy at the same time. She rubbed her eyes and continued to hug him, wanting to stay close to him.

 

He landed on the ground and stood there holding her.

 

She rubbed her eyes once more. She then took off her backpack and pulled out two bottled waters. She handed one to him.
"Here.. It'll keep you hydrated," she said.
