The Elementals Anniversary

"Sure we can." he said, landing softly on the ground and letting her go.

 

Just to get a laugh, she hugged the large tree.
"I think I'm gonna stay on the ground," she chuckled.

 

"I understand." he said. "So you'd rather hug a tree then me?"

 

"If it keeps me on the ground," she joked with a large smile.

 

"I understand." he said, looking down. "I didn't know you hated flying so much."

 

She frowned and let go of the tree. She ran over to him and hugged him.
"I'm sorry. I'm just a tensy bit afraid of heights too, but not as bad as fire," she said.

 

"Alright." he said, hugging her back. "I understand."

 

"I'm still sorry, i didn't mean to make it sound like that," she said starting to cry a little.

 

He looked at her and said "Don't cry." He wiped away her tears.

 

She still cried, but softly.
"I'm sorry," she said.

 

"Don't be." he said. He wiped the rest of her tears away and leaned in.

 

She looked at him softly. She saw him lean in. She got a little nervous, so she leaned back a little.

 

He saw her lean back and lowered his head, letting go of her. He turned around and started walking away.

 

She grabbed his hand.
"Don't go, please," she said softly.

 

He stopped walking. "Aren't you afraid of me?" he asked her.

 

"Of course not. What makes you think I'm afraid of you?" she asked.

 

"You backed away from me when I leaned in." he said.

 

"Because I'm nervous around you," she said blushing lightly.

 

"Oh." he said. "Does that mean you like me?" He started blushing also.

 

She nodded.
"How could I not like you?" she asked smiling.
