The Element Stones

Destiny turned around "I think you're right, something just...doesn't seem all there, but i dont know what" Destiny shurgged then laughed "O well nothing we can do about it, im sure i'll recover them over time...with you"

 

Citoriel just smiled as he said "And I'll always be there for you, no matter what...do you remember our promise? The one we made five years ago?" Citoriel asked holding her hands in his.

 

Destiny changed from a upbeat mood to a confused mood "Im sorry I don't have a clue what you are talking about, what promise?"

 

Citoriel soon turned his smile into a slight frown "The promise we kept, the promise of no matter what happened to us...we'd always be who we are, the promise of our friendship...don't you remember that?" Citoriel asked almost pulling his hands away.

 

Destiny stared into the ground as their hands slipped away from each other "I only have certain memories back, im sorry i dont remember that promise, but it doesnt mean i can't keep it"

 

Citoriel looked at the ground, his head turned sideways, and his hair covering his almost tearing eyes "I wish you would've remembered them all...not only that...but I wish that...that you would've kept that promise in your head, carved into your mind, staying there for eternity..." Citoriel, almost with a cracking voice, had said.

 

Destiny crossed her arms "Well i am sorry, sorry that i couldn't remember that damn promise" Destiny started to get upset "All these stones have done is given me grief and these memories have done the same thing" Destiny then started to run towards to exit of the village

 

Citoriel looked up as he yelled "Destiny, wait!" Citoriel soon ran after her, but lost her in the crowd of people "Destiny!" Citoriel cried as he finally lost sight of her figure "Destiny..." Citoriel soon had lost his friend, and love, again.

 

Destiny ran out into the forest that was on the outskirts of the village, tears still down her face "He doesnt understand" she shouted in anger

 

Citoriel was filled with sadness as he walked back to the entrance, as he started to walk past the bench that he and Destiny had sat on, the rock to where they had talked, and the fields where they had begun. "Why? ...Why did I have to say things I shouldn't have been saying...I knew she lost her memories...I knew she forgot about me...and I knew...I knew...guh...it's all this Stones fault!" Citoriel yelled as he pulled out the Fire stone and chucked it out into the field, where it landed in a tree.

"I blame these stones for everything...everything they have done to Destiny...and the people who have come in contact with them...Eliad!" Citoriel yelled to the heavens "I know you're out here, take the Fire Stone, and give me back my life!" Citoriel screamed to the sky, waiting for Eliad to return but no one came. "Guahhh!" Citoriel screamed from his lungs as he pounded the ground hard with his balled up fist.

 

Destiny walked through the forest staring at the thunder stone "You're meant to keep the worlds peace but all thats happened is grief, what more do you want from me" As Destiny's emotions ran the thunder stone began to glow "W..what?" said Destiny in amazement, Destiny's eyes opened wide as the spirit that usually takes over her was standing infront of her, "Shru" whispered Destiny

Shru walked up to Destiny then bowed to her "Remember your past Princess", Shru then faded back into the stone "Wait" shouted Destiny, she then sighed "Princess...what was the spirit on about"

 

Citoriel began to shed tears as the Fire Stone began to lift itself back to where Citoriel was, only Garshen came out of the Fire Stone, not as the basalisk like before, like a woman this time "Citoriel...I know you are made as the guardian of the stones...but you mustn't fear or blame us for what has happened...this is only the beginning..." Garshen finished as she went back into the Fire Stone.

Citoriel had tears still dripping from his eyes as he picked up the stone and placed it back in his pocket "I don't care anymore...if I am the guardian of you stones...then you have lost all hope..." Citoriel said as he walked near the tree, and sat down at the base of it as he took off his shoes.

 

Destiny was still amazed at the comments by shru "Was i really a...princess" Destiny put the stone back in her pocket and walked to a near by tree and sat down at the base of it "Whats happening to me" she whispered

 

Citoriel began to hear Destiny's voice in his ears and mind "Guh! Will I just get her out of my mind already!" Citoriel yelled in his thought as he didn't know if Destiny was in the back of the tree or not.

 

Destiny sighed and started to think "I shouldn't of been so tough on Citoriel, he's only trying to help" *yawn* "I'll find him after ive had some sleep" Destiny then rested against the tree and dozed off

 

Citoriel soon got up off the ground of the trees base and loooked behind it, and as he did, he saw Destiny, sleeping there, as a young girl who was worn out by work "Destiny..." Citoriel whispered as he sat down next to her "I shouldn't have been saying stuff, I shouldn't have been saying...I care for you too much...I don't care how bad things get, I said "I'd always be there for you..." and I will...always..." Citoriel whispered in her ear, as he held her left hand in his right, closing the gaps between each finger, as he started to doze off.

 

After a few hours rest Destiny slowly opened her eyes, as she did so she felt someone holding her hand "ahhh" she screamed as the jumped up and summonded her thunder staff, she then noticed it was Citoriel "O...I...er..well.."

 

Citoriel was asleep, nothing could wake him up, plus even if he did wake up he would just fall back asleep again. Citoriel had a small snore from his lips escape, as he turned on his right side as he said in his sleep "Destiny...I'm sor--" but Citoriel shut his lips after that.

 

Destiny sat back down next to Citoriel and rested against the tree "Why cant i remember being this princess" She then turned her attention back to Citoriel and smiled "Im sorry for being stupid" she whispered

 

Citoriel began to open his eyes slowly as he yawned from his nap "Man...that was a good nap." Citoriel said as he stretched, then felt a tap on his shoulder. Citoriel turned around and saw Destiny "Uh, Destiny, I..uh...er...well, I-I-I better b-be going...you probably don't wanna talk to me anyway...not after what I said." Citoriel said as he walked but stepped on a pebble with his bare feet "Yow!" Citoriel yelled as he fell bacwards in Destiny's lap, not hard but by accident.
