I'm sorry, but this teaser is just amazing. Oblivion was one of the best games this generation, so I have no doubt that this will be any different.

I thought that Oblivion was good but needed improvement, like the endless amounts of trees in all directions! And the dungeons that seemed endless and tricky to barely be rewarded with anything. Still, I expect this is going to rectify those problems, after loving Fallout 3 for the diverse landscape, locations and missions Skyrim will surely be better.
The main plot was also a little flat, but meh i'm just being picky.

It was annouced that there will a new engine being used, I just hope it's not as buggy as New Vegas. I'm glad they choose to make the game setting Skyrim, it sounded the most interesting, other than Summerset Isle.

Can't wait. I played the hell out of Oblivion.

I'm going to have no life this time next year.

I think this may be the only game ever to win game of the year before it is actually released.

The gameplay in terms of navigation is a little more Fallout style, with stuff like a compass bar. The combat looks so much better as well as AI. Can't wait to see more. The dragons look mega!

Apparently Fallout-style perks will be included as well.

I hope so. Fallout had some of my favorite character customization.

I'm also glad to see that NPC appearences have been improved, judging by one screenie of a barmaid or something that looks far better than all the NPCs of Oblivion combined. They put lots of effort into creating lots of NPCs with complex behaviour and schedules, but they forgot to change the fact that they all looked like burn victims...

Do you think Daedra Shrines will return? Those were some of my favourite quests, especially Sheogorath, who we now to be
    the Champion of Cyrodill
So that would be quite interesting.

They said Daedric artefacts were coming back so I guess shrines will as well. There's a lot of ground they will likely cover from their past games, so expect the many of the same things with a new twist.

The moment dragons start appearing, I'm going to spend about a day finding as many as a can and killing them.

One thing that Bethesda does better than almost any other company is really listen to the fans.

Hmm...should I get a console or a PC version? PC allows lots of yummy mods but may be slow and I'll be too tempted to use console codes and cheat...

If you have a PC that can handle it, get it on PC. It's always better.

Ok, So I have never played a Elder Scroll game, but after watching the G4 live demo/conversation with one of the creators of Skyrim I knew I need it lol

Is it a series I need to play from the first game...or is it just a series with no connection to previous titles?

It looks and sounds like amazing!!!!

You can play it without playing the older ones, but the whole series has a HUGE amount of lore and backstory. The stories are connected but they can still be played as stand alone games. It'll be quite difficult to get a hold of anything older than Morrowind though.

Even f your PC can only handle medium graphics get it on the PC. With mods and dedicated fans it'll out last the console versionfor years, meaning you'll get your moneys worth from it. And it's cheaper then the console version. Win/Win in any situtation really.

Not at all. I played ES: Oblivion having never played one before and it was fine. Plot was relatively simple to follow and the basic themes and lores of it weren't difficult to understand. Demons, orcs, undead, magic, alcgemy, etc, all the basic fantasy elemnts turn up.

Not to mention this game takes 300 years after the last one in an entirely different region, it's not a direct sequel or anythigng just another game in the series.

I fell in love with Morrowind the first time I played it, Oblivion also so I cannot wait for this. I never did the main quest, I found that boring, I just went around and did the side ones for fun. I have had a lot of fun over the years with these games and when this one comes out I will play it and I will play it properly.

I got goosebumps from watching that trailer, me and my sister got over excited when we found Oblivion had Lettuce, I can't wait to see what Skyrim holds. Thanks for showing this, plus I bet they chose for it to come out of 11th November just because they could xD
