The Demon's Crystals

Frank picked up Kiara and led them back to his house.

 

Kiara sighed.
"I'm fine Frank, you can put me down," she said

Jordyn followed Frank back home and she took a sigh.
"I could've fought him," she said softly.

 

He set Kiara on her feet. "And you could have gotten killed. I don't want to lose you like I lost my parents." he said.

 

Kuro said, "Heh, I don't think so, Jordyn. That guy reeked of evil schemes. He probably knew that you were gonna try and kill him on your own."
"Must you be so negative?" Shirokiba asked.
"Kuro does mean dark. Am I supposed to have a bright and cheery attitude constantly?"
"No, but-"
"Exactly," she said with a smirk. "Now...any ideas of how to defeat this guy without hurting Jordyn?"

 

Jordyn's eyes had became glossy. She hadn't thought about that.
"I'm sorry.... I can risk alot of things. I won't get killed, I'll fight him!" she said determined. She headed for the door, wanting to go out and just track him down.

 

The siblings looked at each other. Nodding slightly, they both jumped in front of Jordyn, blocking the door from her.
"Sorry, but we've got some things to work out. You say you can risk a lot? Explain that to Kiara, then," Kuro growled slightly.

 

Frank put his arms around Jordyn and said "I'm not letting you go either. We can figure out another way to kill him."

 

"Why do you think I'm gonna risk myself? You seen what he did to her!? I'm gonna kill him for that! I don't want her hurt again or took from me again," she yelled.

 

"She'll be safe here." he said. "We need to think of a plan. We can't just go and face him, we'll get killed."

 

Kuro started growling louder. "Look," she said, "you may be willing to throw your life away, but there's people here that care about you. Like...Frank, Kiara, Shiro, and me. We're not gonna let you do that."
"As Kuro-like as this sounds...she and I are willing to go down fighting, but along side you," Shiro said.

 

jecht rolled over feeling the skin on his back burning
"ow"
he stood up seeing the scene he dropped to one knee

 

Jordyn huffed and crossed her arms.
"I could always go out the window," she said... She wouldn't let anyone else risk themselves. She'd rather die, and know the others are safe.

"Wait a second. Where's Jecht!?" Kiara asked remembering him

David saw Jecht and chuckled making it down to the sight.
"Well Well," he said, taking his katana putting it to his neck.
"I lost my chance, but the next time i get one, I'll slice right through Kiara's neck like it is just water, and I'll make you suffer through every minute of it," he chuckled.

 

"I don't want you to die." Frank said. "I'll go get Jecht. Stay here." He went past Kuro and Shiro and went out the door, running to Jecht.

 

jecht swung his claw at david
"you stay away from her or ill kill you"

 

David chuckled.
"Kill me? You'd make Kiara very unhappy. If you kill me, you kill Jordyn, and that is her sister after all," he chuckled.

 

He found Jecht ready to fight David. "NO!" he said, pulling Jecht away from David. "We can't fight him yet! Besides, Kiara's worried about you, lets go see her."

 

Shiro leaned against the doorframe, looking out the window. He was silent, but Kuro could tell he was thinking. She sighed, and turned to Jordyn.
"Come on, we need to talk," she said to her.

 

Frank carried Jecht back to his house.

 

Shiro noticed Frank approaching. His ears flicked up to attention, and he said, "Hey, Frank's back. And I think he has Jecht, too."
