The Demon's Crystals

As Kuro went to get her weapons, Shiro continued watching the two outside.
"...I'm watching two people on the street from a window...is that considered stalking?
He watched the girl turn away. "She probably doesn't think that she's worth anything either...why are we hated so much? Why-"
Shiro's thoughts were interrupted by a loud, "SONUFA-" and then a crash that sounded like breaking glass.

Shiro sighed and went to see what happened.
"Kuro! Where are you?" he walked to her room, where he saw the box his sister kept her stuff in on the floor. He looked up from the box to find a broken window.
"KURO! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"
A growl came from the street. "Just shut up and get down here, Shirokiba."

Needless to say, the sight of someone falling from the second floor of an apartment building caused a scene...

 

Jordyn stopped dead in her tracks and she turned to see someone on the street. A cool sweat ran down the left side of her face, and her heart pumped quickly.
"Just as I thought," she said softly. She took a few steps back seeing the other half demons. She was almost frozen, and she couldn't move.

 

Shirokiba jumped through the broken window and landed almost silently on the ground below.

"Kuro, you-" Shirokiba began.
"I don't want to hear your crap now, Shiro. We have more...important things to deal with at the moment than a broken window."

Kuro was watching the girl carefully. She seemed to be a half-demon like them, but she almost seemed...scared.
"Hey...You're a half-demon, right? There's no reason to be scared, we aren't gonna k-"
Kuro was cut off by an elbox to the ribs.
"What my sister was trying to say was that we're half demons as well. We're drifters, and we came to this area to rest for a bit...are there any demons here we should be aware of? I don't mean to rush things, but...our past with demons has not been pleasant."

 

As Jordyn listened on, she felt her heart ease up softly, but at first she was a little scared of Kuro at first until she was elbowed i the rib, and her brother talked. She took a deep sigh
"I'm sorry, I'm not aware of any demons at the moment that are here. but I've been getting mixed signals, from an accident that happened half a year ago... So now, if i sense a demon, or half demon, i can't tell how far they are, only their power," she said. She was a little worried, because she didn't want the boy she met to realize she was a half demon, but what did she care? She only met him today. But he might talk to her again. It had been a whole half year since anyone ever talked to her. It actually felt nice for her to actually interact with others, and finally, half demons of her own. She could feel much better now, talking to someone who was just like her, and could understand her better.

He called out to her. "Wait!" he said, "I don't even know your name!" He ran after her. He didn't even notice somone jump out of a window.

 

Jordyn looked back, seeing the boy start running her way. She felt nervous, and she felt her muscles tighten up. She let out a small cough and finally moved her feet back once. She looked at the others and pulled out a small card with her information on it, such as a phone number and where she'd be at mostly, usually in the forest on the east side. She gave it to Shirokiba.
"If you ever need to talk to me about demons, you can call my cell, and please, don't let that boy follow me. I'm afraid if I interact with him... I'll do something bad.. The card tells you where I'll be.. As soon as you hear something, let me know," she said then starting running back down the street, after the feeling of being frozen left her body. Her legs moved swiftly, and she just wouldn't stop. SHe would get feelings for someone else.. She wouldn't! But just seeing his face, made her think, he seemed nice, and already trustful, which was something she didn't expect.

 

OOC: That's okay. I've had pretty long posts myself. xDD

IC:
As the siblings listened to the girl, Kuro noticed that she sounded...almost lost.
Kuro spoke. "Ah, don't be sorry. At least we won't have to deal with any demons stupid enough to cross paths with us. They think they're pretty high and mighty, but I doubt that they actually ever encountered one of us."

Suddenly the girl panicked. She handed a card to Shirokiba, and darted off, asking them to prevent the boy from following her.
"Uhh..." Kuro's intelligent answer.
"Sure thing. We'll give you a call once we solve matters here."
The metal shink of swords being drawn sounded.
...
"Kuro...put the katanas away..."
"...Damn. Hey buddy!" Calling out to people randomly would have to do.

 

Frank continued to chase after her. He had to find out who this girl was.

 

Jordyn finally made it to the forest, and she looked for her tree. The one with her and her sister's initials carved in. It was the large oak tree. She looked around to see if no one found her yet, not noticing the boy running towards her either. She grabbed a branch and started climbing up the tree. She had to get up to her spot to watch for demons. She finally got halfway up, about 50 feet and she sat down where a bunch of branches came together to make a wide enough space for her to sit. She got comfortable and looked out in the horizon, seeking any sort of demon presence.

 

The boy ran right past the siblings.
"That...didn't quite go as planned."
"Well, no kidding, Shiro. The katanas would've gotten his attention."
"Fair enough. Shall we?" Shirokiba asked.
"Of course," Kurokiba replied, and the two dashed after the boy.

OOC: Typing on phone=NOT FUN.

 

He looked back and noticed the two people chasing him. He ran faster, hoping to out-run them.

OOC: g2g, it's getting late.

 

Kurokiba and Shirokiba's half-demon heritage allowed them speed faster than a normal human's.
Kurokiba called out, "Hey! Stop, will ya? My brother and I don't have a problem keeping up with you, so you're at a loss."
Shiro sighed. "Do you know what eloquence is?"
"Shut up and stop the guy, Shiro..."

 

Jordyn could hear running footsteps, she stood up and looked behind her seeing the boy running.
"Why is he following me?" she asked herself. She got off the wide set of branches and started to climb down.

 

Shiro glanced at his sister. "This is taking too long. I'll handle this guy. You go make sure that girl's okay."
Kuro nodded in agreement. "Gotcha," she said as she sniffed the air to try and find the girl's scent.
"Heh, I can't believe I'm thinking this, but being a half-demon isn't bad at all."
Kurokiba picked up her scent, and started to head to the area she smelled the scent from.

 

ooc so what has happened so far?

 

OOC:Well, Jordyn bumped into a guy, then two halfdemons came from an apartment builkding and told her that they weren't evil basically xD

Jordyn ran from the guy who she bumped into (DSK) and made friends with Kuro and Shiro (DPWolf)

BIC:
Jordyn climbed halfway down from her starting poing, until a branch broke and she fell out. It wasn't a long drop, but it still hurt when she landed. She rubbed her hip where she landed and knew it would be bruised.

Jade walked around the town with Ty close behind her. She looked at the grund as she walked paying no atention to anyone else. The smells of the people and food were driving her crazy. The tempation she felt was great. "Mind if we have some fun?"

"Go ahead and do as you please." He said with his arms crossed and looking to the people to the side as they passed them by.

She smiled but then she sensed something.... "There are half breeds in this town...Intersting."

 

Jordyn stood up, feeling some sort of shock go through her body. She sensed them...Demons. Her heart thumped softly. She didn't expect them, now of all times. She turned and looked at the city, and knew how close these were. She felt frozen, but she clenched her hands together, taking a deep breath. This was it....The time to fight. She dashed from her spot, still feeling like she was frozen, but yet her legs moved so swiftly. A cool sweat broke out, running down her face and she breathe thoroughly. She made it back to the city, and ran down the street, waiting until she found the presence of the two demons. She would stop them, and she would protect the town.

 

"oh one of them is coming this way. Wanna play?"
"I'll stay out of this one for now." Ty said and juped ontop of the cloest rooftop and sat on the edge.
"Be that way." She shurgged. "More for me." She said as she saw the half breed coming closer

 

Jordyn watched as one jumped on on the rooftop, and the other stayed on the ground, she skidded to a stop, stumbling slightly. She took a deep breath, and she was afraid. She reached in her pocket and pulled out what looked to be a crystal. It was big, and it was bright. She hooked it around her wrist, giving her a boost. It was the crystals, that she stole. The most powerful demon's crystal. She would need them. Her eyes turned pale, and her skin looked almost white. The crystal took her physical features, but gave her more strength and options, she spoke softly.
"Leave this town...Now," she said. She felt a cool breeze come along and she felt her hair brush along her cheek.
