The Demon's Crystals

Frank heard her cough and stopped. "You're alright! You had me so worried Jordyn!" he said, still crying.

 

Jordyn felt Frank stop. She could tell she was still in his arms. Her eyes opened slightly, and she rested her head against him softly and closed them again. She wanted to reassure him that she was okay.

Kiara could hear him say something, but the only thing that got her attention, was when he said her name. Jordyn Kiara let out a stifled gasp, and she stayed behind a slight tree. She backed up a step and stepped on a branch, making a loud snap. She held her left hand over her lips, to make sure she didn't let out another stifled gasp.

 

He smiled when she rested her head against him. He heard the branch crack and turned around. "Who's there?" he asked. "Show yourself!"

 

Kiara let out a slight gasp, and poked her head across the left side of the tree, looking at Frank. He seemed sort of relieved in a way, so he might be less agitated. She walked to where her whole body showed. She stared at him, fearful.

 

Frank looked at the girl. "Who are you?" he asked. "What is your name?"

he pulled out an old cloak he put a hand to it and pulled a uncooked hot dog
"gotta love aura"

 

She whimpered softly and took a step back, shaking her head. She didn't want to tell him her name.. With the demons and all probably looking for her. She tried to think, so maybe she'd give a fake name.
"My name is Tasha," she said, trying to be convincing. That was her slave name, so she wasn't necessarily lying.

 

"Tasha?" he asked. "Why were you following us?"

 

"I saw you go by me with a girl in your arms. I was a little worried," she said softly.

 

"Thank you for worrying, but she's fine now. She's just a little weak at the moment." he said.

 

She looked at Jordyn, and still worried. What was it that made her weak?
"What happened?" she asked, more concerned..

 

"Her demon side took over and almost killed her." he said.

 

Kiara felt something just strike her... Her demon side.. It was still there. It couldn't still be there.... SHe had promised... To get rid of it... She would try to...
"......Jordyn," she said softly, her eyes wet from almost getting ready to cry.

 

"Wait, you know her?" he asked "Who are you?"

 

She nodded.. She couldn't bear to keep it from him.
"Tasha.. was my slave name... My real name is Kiara... Jordyn..is my sister," she said, tears flowing down her eyes.

 

"You're her sister?" he asked. "Then come with me." He started walking back to his house.

 

Kiara walked with him back to his house. She wiped away her tears softly.

 

He went inside and placed Jordyn on his bed to rest. He went back to Kiara and sat on the couch. "Sit." he said. "We have to have a talk."

 

Kiara took a slight worry to the talk they were going to have. She sat down slightly, a little shaky.

 

"First of all I want to ask you, what did you mean when you said Tasha was your slave name?" he asked.
