Has anyone ever read these awesome books? Darren Shan is one of my favorite authors, because he's so... gory in a way. Lol, I would reccemend them. This guy Darren Shan is so good, he's the only author that I like that writes gory things. Blood and guts flying everywhere. ;D
Quoting you gives me an headache.... And The Demonta books are awesome! I love the BecXBeranabus thing so badly! I actually think that either Grubs and Bec will go together or Kernal and Bec.... .:~:.
I've read his Cirque Du Freak series, and I can say that that's one of my favorite series of books I have ever read. I've read the first two books of Demonata, but I haven't gotten a chance to read anymore =\
I've heard the Demonata books are good. But I'm a Cirque Du Freak fan. I was lucky enough to meet Darren Shan in person last Halloween.
Then you'd like the Demonta. Omfg... YOUR SO DAMN LUCKY! I wanted to meet the man after I read Freak Dy Freak (Cirqure Du Freak)
He is a pretty funny guy. Alot more chubby than I thought, and you coukd really tell the Irish accent.
I've read all his books on horror up to date. They're quite good. I think that Lord Loss is the best though. Really gory, and extremely descriptive.
the Demonata is ****ing epic, I just finished reading the latest books and I can't wait for Hell's Heroes :'D I think sometimes the plot goes a bit weird but Shan is an awesome author and although the books don't scare me the goriness (is that a word?) makes them epic to read. I adore Bec 8D <3
You are so fucking lucky!!!!! When I first read the first Demonata book, i was piss scared. But now I'm used to his writing and its awesome!
I've read the Cirque Du Freak series,freaking.awesome. But Demonata, which I've just started a couple of days ago ;~;,seems to be interesting.
I own them all, read them all more then 3 times and they are FRIGGIN AWSUM. I love every book he ever made. OH! btw, the first 3 books of the Darren Shan saga are filmed and will be in theaters in a short while. The title is Cirque du Freak: The Vampire Assistant. Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPC-5VoCkNE I am so gonna totally like really um SEE THAT MOVIE!1!!!!1 err.. Never mind my demon Darren Shan fan inside me, I can't control it if someone talks about these awesome creations.
I found some interest in the cirque du freak novels, as I simply can't pass a vampire book by without stopping for a quick flick through the pages. I now own all of them, and I would say they are rather good. As for the Demonata books, I'm unsure. I got to Wolf Island, and I began to find his writing a little young for me; I'm all for complex sentences and detailed descriptions. I just didn't find it satisfactory from then on.
