The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

"Remember how I told you I used to be a demon slayer?" she asked Kyle, Ceri, and Jane

 

"Yes, what about it?"

 

"You still are. We are all demon slayers. You speak in the past tense?"

 

*reaches a cave blocked by a bolder and uses aura to move it*

"it should still be here"

*walks in*

 

I'm saying when I used to be one years ago, before I retired...I was one of the strongest ones...but I wasn't strong enough to defeat the demons who killed my family, and my friends...They slaughtered everyone...but not me...I was the lucky one..." she said looking up in the sky

 

*looks at a suit of armor that is missing the right gauntlet*

"well i should get this suit on"
*starts putting on armor*

 

"Alone we are weaker, but together we have real strength. Believe this and stay. We all have stories to tell. I read my mother's diary. My father was a demon slayer but he was too proud to get help. They all died. Had he taken the help they would all be here today." Ceri put her arm around Natalie's shoulders.

 

"well there isnt much to know about me. im your friend. thats whats important. and why would you trade your memory and your humanity for power?"

 

"And you're afraid the same thing might happen if you stay with us, right?"

 

'Something happened that convinced me I wasn't powerful enough. I don't know what as I don't remember. Kyle was at the portal. Perhaps he knows.'

 

"Well, that's the thing..I don't know...but I'm afraid to stay here with you guys...I'm afraid of hurting you all...especially Jecht...," she said putting her head down...

 

*complete in armor*

"hmm now where is kimrai"
*suddenly a crimson dragon with a saddle on it comes out*

"master you have returned"

"yes old friend the crimson knight is needed one more time"

 

"Do you like him?" he asked. "Don't worry, we can take care of ourselves."

 

*flying by the castle*
"ok you know what to do right?"

"huh hey wait stay there for a sec im going to do some eavsedropping"
*sneaks to within earshot of them*

 

"I don't know..He reminds me of my friend Seph...He had a crush on me but never admitted it..and now I'll never know...I also heard him saying I was cute, when he caught me in the air, after he sicked his dragons on me," she said smiling..but she looked back down...
"I know you can take care of yourselves, but...when Cloudroth and Nicole had me hostage....I...I was just scared....It was going to happen all over again..." she said as a tear went down her left cheek..

 

*comes around so that the others could see him*

"so thats it huh"

 

"Whats it?" she asked him standing up...

 

"oh i might want to take this off"

*takes off helmet*

"so i remind you of seph huh heh guy was never much of a thinker"

 

"You knew Seph?" she asked putting her hands on her hips...

 

"knew him of course i knew him he's my brother!!"
