The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

'Food's ready. Can you get back to the dining room?'

Ceri showed her exactly how to get there.

 

" Yeah sure thanks." She followed her directions to the dining room.

 

Ceri began serving the food. There was plenty of it. She yelled for Natalie and Jecht to join them. She sat at Kyle's side and poured drinks.

 

Jane came in and sat down. " Thank you Ceri."

 

"Yes, thank you Ceri." he said.

 

"My pleasure. I really enjoyed cooking. Perhaps I did before, I'm not sure. I must be the castle's cook."

She looked at Kyle and grinned mischievously.

"Do I work for you?"

 

"No, you don't work for me." he said, smiling. "This is the first time you've cooked for us."

 

"Maybe I should be the cook. Any objections? It's better than just training and it frees up you guys."

 

" Well by the way it smells, I'm guessing you could be a really good cook."

 

"I can't be sure but I think I used to do this in the past at some time. Someone must have taught me. I don't really remember."

 

"Only one way to find out." he said, taking a bite.

 

Jane also took a bite.

 

Ceri waited and watched. She sat down and ate, regardless of the other's reactions. She was not going to be beaten by comments.

 

Natalie walked outside and sat on the ground..She began to meditate....

 

He swallowed and said "This is the GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER EATEN!"

 

"Well you're either easily pleased or a lousy cook" Ceri muttered.

"It's passable. I guess I can probably do better."

 

" He's right! This is delicious!"

 

"Have faith in yourself and your cooking. It's much better than 'passable'."

 

"Guess you have a new castle cook then. What's your other job? Morale officer?"

 

"Heheheh. No, I clean and fix things, I pretty much take care of the castle itself."
