The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

Ceri heard a strange voice in her mind. 'Another telepath. Who are you and how do you know us?'

 

Philippe was taken aback.

What do you mean? This is Philippe. Are you okay, Ceri?

He paused.

Are you mad at me?

 

'I'm not mad at you. I don't know who you are. It's complicated. Where are you now and what are you doing?'

She looked worried and stood closer to Kyle.

"Where's Philippe?"

 

"I don't know. He's been gone ever since you attacked him after he blew up the doop to your old room that one night." he said, putting his arm around her.

 

'I'm so sorry for what I did to you Philippe. Kyle just told me I attacked you. Please forgive me. Where are you?'

Ceri concentrated harder. 'Darkeon, can you hear me?'

 

He could tell she was busy, so he went inside and downstairs to the lab.

 

Philippe realized she doesn't remember anything.

I have already forgiven you. I would like you to forgive me. I didn't tell you that I had made an aliiance with Darkeon.

He then remembered what Darkeon had said.

I think you already had, though. Darkeon had told me that you forgave him for what he did. He is not evil. Draklor wasn't evil, either, but I think you must know that. Philippe shakes his head. Of course you don't. You can't remember a thing. I am at Darkeon's place right now. He is training me to be stronger, so I can help defeat Ultimus.

Ceri smiled. Philippe sounded kind and serious, unlike Jecht. So Kyle was the calm leader, Philippe was the serious thinker and Jecht was the comic relief. Where did she fit in?

she saw Kyle disappear so she followed downstairs. He disappeared into a room he hadn't shown her. She knocked on the door and waited.

 

"Yes?" he asked, walking around and looking at things.

 

"Can I come in?"

Ceri stuck her head around the door.

"Oh, what a great lab. I know a bit about this."

 

"Come on in." he said, still looking around.

 

"You've lost something?"

She began sorting the flasks, frowning.

You know we could use the equipment here to make some handy gadgets.

"So you're qualified as a scientist then, or just an insane inventor?"

 

"Actually, this stuff was here when I woke up." He pointed to a big machine. "See that?"

 

"Yep, the thing next to the autoclave. What of it?" She was busy tidying up the benches. "Whens the last time you cleaned up in here?"

 

"To answer your second question, never. To answer the first, that is the machine that gave me the demon blood that now runs through my veins."

 

"So you did it to yourself then? Ok........I think this is getting weird. Do I have to change my name to Morticia or something. This is too freaky. I'll be a good assistant and do some real work round here. We can maybe actually use this lab then."

 

"No, it was done while I was asleep."

 

darkeon was deep in meditation his body was at his home but his mind was some where else. he was in a temple. in the temple there was a scroll that read "peace is a lie, there is only passion. through passion a gain strength, through strength i gain power, through power i gain victory, through victory my chains are broken, and death shall set me free" darkeon pondered the meaning of this. he knew it was the secret to ultimate power....but before power could be obtained one must understand the meaning of the text. his mind remained in the temple, seeking the ultimate power.

"Ever heard of knocking?"
