bic: Natalie had felt a large pain in the back of her head...She could hear Jecht talking....

 

OOC: Sorry, been away a while! Wow, a kiss between Ceri and Kyle....


BIC: Philippe watched the whole thing with Ultimus unfold through meditation. He slowly opened his eyes and looked over at Darkeon, "That was interesting, we should have tried to help them, though." he paused. "Or did you?"

 

"i didnt. i knew ultimus wasnt going to fight them there."

 

Ceri parked the car at a small motel. This would do for accommodation. She didn't care as long as she had somewhere to sleep, and the rooms were cheap. Collecting a room key she paid in advance. No one would ask any questions. She got her stuff out of the boot, including a spare axe. She threw herself on the bed. What was happening with her life? Nothing was straightforward. The demons were more honest to her than her own kind. She had no idea whether he really cared about her or whether he was playing with her emotions.

'Darkeon and Draklor treated me more openly. At least I know where I stand with them' Ceri thought as she prepared for her new life alone.

 

He stopped crying and went looking for her. Within a coulple hours, he made it to a small motel. He saw her car and ran inside.

 

Ceri walked out to the car and drove off. She filled up with petrol and traveled out into the country. She parked up in the hills and got a box out of the boot. She took out a pendant and walked into a cave. Chanting as she walked, a portal opened and she walked through it. The portal closed behind her.

 

Kyle followed her up until she went through the portal. Ceri, if you can hear me, please come back. I need you.

 

Ceri walked up to a huge set of doors. She pushed them and went through. "So you have arrived at last. I have been expecting you. What do you want?" Large red eyes studied her. Ceri looked up. "Take away the pain and make me complete."

The huge figure moved closer. "You know the cost of the power you ask."

"I will pay as my ancestors did."

Light flared and she screamed. Putting on sun glasses she walked out through a new portal.

 

Kyle saw her walking out of the new portal. "Ceri!" he called after her.

 

Ceri turned to him. "Do I know you?"

She removed her glasses revealing jet black orbs.

"I have an appointment to keep. Nice meeting you."

 

"Ceri! It's me, Kyle! Don't you remember me?"

 

"I'm sorry, but I don't think we have ever met. Perhaps you can help me. I am looking for this address. I have a job to do there."

Ceri showed him the address of his castle.

 

"That's my castle." he said, holding back tears. She had completely forgotten about him!

 

"Perhaps I can give you a lift then. I guess you are expecting me as you know my name. Karnat sends his regards by the way."

 

"Karnat?" he asked, confused.

 

"You haven't come across him yet I suppose. He sent me to help out a group of demon slayers. You are half demon aren't you?"

'Don't be afraid. I won't hurt you. We have a lot in common.'

 

"You don't know the half of it." he mumbled, accidentally letting a tear escape and roll down his cheek.

 

"Are you alright, you seem to be crying? I heard what you said."

Ceri was intrigued as to what he meant.

"Please explain to me what you mean?"

 

"We already know eachother. Infact, you had recently left my castle."
