The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

When Jane woke up she knew it was day because the ground was warm. She was covered in mud. " Ugh." She said grabbing her blindfold and putting it back on. She stood up and started walking back to the castle.

 

Well that was interesting...Philippe watched the two from a distance away. Draklor was against Clouroth too, but that small demon child seemed to worship Cloudroth. Does this mean that I also have an alliance with Draklor because of Darkeon? Philippe looked around. They sure like to destroy things. At least he got a new cloak and boots before the town was destroyed. He sighed and pulled his hood over, hiding his face. He went over to the pile of rubble that used to be the clothing shop and dropped some money onto it.

"Sorry I forgot to pay, but here is the money," Philippe said then walked away.

 

"Thank you. I wish I could control her but I can't. One is active while the other sleeps. I'm not sure if it's an accidental side effect or whether Darkeon did it on purpose. Where is Philippe?"

 

"I don't know. I think he ran away."

 

While walking she accidently stepped on a cloak. Moving the earth around a little she got it out. " I wonder how this got stuck in the mud so much and who's it is." She carried it back to the castle. The big door creaked when she opened it at Kyle's castle. Next to the door was a small folded up note. " Hmmm must be for Kyle." She said picking it up. She walked around, " Kyle! Kyle are you here!?" She yelled through the castle.

 

"Over here!" he called to her.

 

She followed his voice, " There you are.... um I think this is for you and sorry for getting your house all muddy." She said handing him the note.

 

Nicole teleported back to Cloudroth...
"Lord Cloudroth, Draklor seems to show you disrespect...Is he in your group?" Nicole asked...

 

Philippe was walking down a dirt road when his stomach growled. Oops, I forgot to eat. I better stop at the next village. It wasn't a village, though. It was a city. Philippe usually avoided cities, but he didn't know how long it would take him to get to the next village. Stupid demons. He would not be hungry if he was able to eat at the town he had stopped in, but demons had to come and destroy it. He couldn't stop them because of his alliance with Darkeon. Philippe sighed and walked into the city.

 

"At one point I thought he was, but not anymore."

"Thank you." he said, taking the note. He read it and whispered "Oh no!"

 

" What is it? What does it say?" She asked.

Ceri padded to the kitchen to get something to eat. She wondered how she would explain the events last night. She saw Jane and called out.

"Hi Jane. Anything I can get you?"

 

OOC: Bye. I've got to get going too.

BIC: "It's a note from Cloudroth saying he has captured Natalie! He is willing to trade her for my necklace."

 

Ceri got some food out of the fridge and started to cook. She needed something to keep her occupied. She had to face everyone else. She wondered if she was the reason Philippe left. She sent out a psychic message to Philippe.

'Please come back. I can explain everything. I'm sorry if I hurt you.'

 

He heard Ceri and ignored her. I will not trust her again. I will kill Clouroth. Philippe's stomach growled again. Right after I eat. He only had some money left in that guy's wallet so he bought a a loaf of bread and a container of water. After he was done eating, he decided he should rest. He needed all his energy to take on Cloudroth. Philippe went into a hotel, but bumped into someone on the way in.

"Sorry, I didn't see you," Philippe said. The man kept looking at Philippe as he said this. Philippe turned around and walked to the desk. He could feel the man's eyes on him as he walked.

What does he want? Philippe turned around and the man was over by the phone. Odd. Philippe payed the hotel clerk the money he stole from a woman on the street and got a room key. He went upstairs to his room and fell onto the bed. Philippe was asleep in moments.

The man watched the the young, black cloaked man make his way up the stairs of the hotel from by the phones. When he was gone, the man picked up the phone and dialed the police station.

"Hello? This is Officer Lerroy. Yes, I know it is my day off, but I think I found someone you would be interested in," He paused, "His name is Philippe Devione and he used to be in the gang called the Hooded Demons." He paused again. "That is the one! Wow, he has $100 00 on his head? I might be promoted for this! Okay, bye."

Lerroy hung up the phone and went over to the desk. "Do you know the person who just signed in? Yes his name is Philippe Devione......"

 

Natalie opened her eyes slowly and put her hand up to her head....
"N-Nicole, what did you do to me?" she asked rubbing her head...

Nicole turned to face Natalie...
"I shut you up..You were very annoying, and if you don't wish to be uncoscious, then I suggest you stay quiet..."

"I'm not doing anything until you let me out of here!" Natalie yelled then stood up..She walked over to the bars and started pounding on them...

"Ignorant girl..." she said fiddling with her rope..

 

Philippe woke up. Sunlight was streaming through the window. I must have slept the rest of the morning. He got up and went out of his room. He stumbled. I must not be fully awake. Philippe went downstairs and over to the desk. The clerk seemed to brighten up when he saw Philippe. What is he so cheery about? Philippe placed the room key on the desk and turned around. He started to walk towards the exit. It is unusually empty in here today. Nobody was in the lobby.

"Thank you for your stay, Mister Devione."

Philippe froze. How does he know my name? He turned around quickly, but stopped. Something had hit him on the head and he fell to his knees. The last thing he saw before he blacked out was the clerk with a wide smile and the man from early this morning.

"You..." Philippe didn't finish his sentence.

 

Ceri shook her head sadly. Either Philippe was out of reach or he was ignoring her. If only she could explain to him what had happened. She had not wanted to broadcast her problem, but she realised that she couldn't hide it anymore.

'Please Philippe I beg you. At least answer me.'

 

" We've got to help her!"

 

Natalie sat down in the cage..

"Ceri...Can you hear me?" she asked trying to speak to her through thoughts...
