The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

"Then how come you're half human? I may be a little slow at times but I have a degree in biology and that tells me somethings wrong. I think we need to talk. You tell me your secret and I'll tell you mine."

 

Philippe walked across the field, but slipped, covering himself in mud. Just great. It is muddier than I thought. He tried to get up, but slipped again, this time landing his face in the mud.

"I hate my life," He muttered.

 

"I started out as a human, but when I created Cloudroth, he attacked me. That's how I got that scar I showed you. I lost a lot of blood and passed out. When I awoke, I woke up here and found out I was given demon blood to replace the blood I had lost. The blood is what made me a half demon. Any questions?"

 

Ceri knew she had pushed it a little too far this time.

"Sorry, now it's my turn to give you a secret. With your keen hearing you probably overheard me telling Philippe that I didn't do romance. There's a reason in my past and it's the reason I asked for a room with a lock. I trust you but I don't trust myself. The powers bestowed on me split my soul. The second me is a cold killer. That's what became of someone in my past. Now I lock myself from the world at night as the other facet takes over when I sleep. I understand if you want me to leave."

Ceri hung her head.

 

He hugged her and said "We all have our evil sides. Take my demon form for example. I'm not going to kick you out."

 

Some walk this turned out to be. I am going back inside before I slip again. Philippe was now in a worse mood than before he went outside. He got to the door and went inside. He was so mad that he didn't take off his cloak and kept his hood up. He was so mad that he went to his room, forgetting he was covered in mud, leaving a trail of footprints all the way up the stairs. He was so mad that he plopped down on the bed and-

"This isn't my room!"

 

Natalie looked over at Philippe...
"I'm gonna go out for a bit..Tell Kyle and Ceri for me," she said then walked out...She flew back to the forest near the river...She found herbs and started making more of her homemade potions..most of the herbs she needed grew on the river bed..


Nicole was searching throughout the forest...She spotted Natalie...She hid behind a tree and watched her make the potions...She then created a portal back to Cloudroth to give the knews that she was alone...

 

Jane walked around outside. She sighed and looked to the sky ( not that she could see it.) " Oh how I wish I could see you moon, one more time." She whispered.

 

"I've met him, remember. I'm sorry. I should have asked instead of sneaking around. I find it hard to trust people. Darkeon has been talking to me again. Cloudroth is collecting an army. Darkeon seems to want to control it though. There is a lot of infighting. This is the calm before the storm."

Ceri rested her head against him.

"Thanks for understanding."

 

"You're welcome." he said. "Maybe they will kill eachother."

"What did you find?" he asked to her.

 

Ceri left and went back to her room. She locked the door and put the key away safely. For some reason the night Ceri had no idea what the day Ceri did so she was safe. She lay down on the bed and fell asleep.

 

Kyle headed to his room.

 

Where am I? Philippe sat up and looked around. Just another spare bedroom. Philippe went out of the room, into the hallway. Where am I? Philippe went down one hallway and turned and went down another one. Stupid big castle.... Philippe rounded another corner and saw the stairway. I am not lost! Wait, which room is mine? Philippe decided to go look for Kyle and ask him, but he had no idea where Kyle might be.

 

Ceri's eyes opened suddenly. She got off the bed and went to the door. Trying the handle, she found it locked. She banged on the door and yelled "let me out now."

 

darkeon entered her mind. "what if i could help you to see again? all you have to do is join me." he said

 

Jane felt for vibrations somewhere, but couldnt find them. " Who' there and how can you get me to see?" She asked moving her feet around.

 

Philippe was wandering around, trying to find his room or Kyle, when he heard Ceri banging on the door. He tried to open it. It was locked.

"I think you locked it," He yelled through the door.

 

"No, I'm locked in and there's no key. Please let me out."

The voice pleaded with sincerity.

 

Kyle went upstairs and saw Philippe. "Lock yourself out of your room?"

 

"No Ceri is stuck in her room. I am going to get her out."

Philippe touched the door. He the energy form in him, then move to his hands. The door turned to liquid and splattered onto the floor, getting his boots dirtier than his cloak.

"Oops. I didn't mean to do that to the whole door."
