The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

"his name is cloudroth. if you want to find him, stick with kyle and he will show himself eventualy. and dont be alarmed that im talking to you. i may be a demon but i am a demon unlike all the others."

 

Philippe thought for a moment.

"Why are you talking to me?"

 

Ceri waited until everything was quiet again and slipped out of the room. This time she went downstairs. They had only been in a few rooms and she wanted to know what was in the rest. She tiptoed down the stairs and tried one of the closed doors. It opened and she slipped inside.

 

"i want cloudroth dead. and he killed your family, so you should want the same. if you want to know more about him then ask kyle, after all, he created cloudroth. and if you do end up fighting cloudroth but cant win, i give you my word that i will jump in and help you."

 

"I wonder what she's up to." he said to himself.

 

Although the room was dark, Ceri could see well enough. It was a study. She went over to the desk. the draws were locked. She used her psychic abilities to open the draws. She hoped no one could sense them. She cringed as the draw made a noise opening. There were numerous papers inside.

 

*looks around*
huh whered everyone go hmmm i do remember kyle saying something about rooms heh i just find somewhere to sleep

*goes off looking*

 

He created Cloudroth, a demon whole killed my family!
Philippe was stunned. He had thought Kyle was becoming his friend! Kyle was nothing, but a filthy half-breed. Philippe frowned. He should have never trusted them.

"I will stick with these people for now. I will try to kill Cloudroth for you, but if he is to strong, then I will need help. You seem to be the only one who is telling me the truth so I accept your word."

 

"What is she looking for?"

 

Ceri sat under the desk with a small torch. She went through the papers. Most of them seemed to be old family records. Interesting at another time but not what she wanted. Kyle was organised, she smiled. It made her search easier. She got to his grandparents. Now she was getting to the point she wanted to know. Who was his demon parent?

 

"good. i will not betray you. and do not speak of our aliance to any one, especialy kyle and ceri." he said as he left philippe's mind and returned to meditation.

He couldn't stand it anymore. He had to know what she was doing! He went to the study, where she was, and opened the door. "Still looking for the bathroom?" he asked. "If there is something you want to know you can just ask me, I won't mind."

*starts using aura to look for kyle*

 

Ceri jumped and hit her head on the bottom of the desk. She stuffed the papers back into the draw and slammed it shut. She knew she couldn't talk her way out of this one. She stood up slowly, blushing.

"It's a fair cop. You caught me red handed."

 

Philippe sat there for a while, staring at nothing. Then he got up and looked out the window, up at the clear night sky. It had stopped raining and the stars were winking at him, saying, "Come and play, we are waiting." It was new moon tonight, so no moonlight shone across the land outside. Philippe could still see fairly well because of his enhanced eyesight. Everything was damp and the ground was muddy. I may have to buy a new cloak after this. Philippe sighed and turned from the window. What should I do now?

 

"So," he said, walking over to her, "What do you want to know?"

 

"You have every right to be angry with me....I was curious. I know a lot about what's happening amongst the demons. I didn't want anyone to know about that. I wanted to know who your demon parent is. You could be drawn into a worse fight than you could imagine. It seemed rude to just ask."

 

"I'm not mad. It's okay to be courious sometimes." he said, standing in front of her. "The answer to your question is, neither parent. Both of them were human."

 

It was night, but Philippe couldn't sleep anymore. He decided to wander around the castle. When he went out the door, though, the air here seemed thick. Maybe a walk would calm him down. After all, it stopped raining. Philippe went downstairs to the coat closet. He took out his cloak and gloves. They weren't completely dry, but Philippe put them on anyways. He put up the hood, which came over and hid his face. He went out the door, into the night.
