The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

He fell to one knee.

 

Natalie looked over at Kyle....
"You alright?" she asked...

 

Ceri sent out a further mind probe.

'So death is only the beginning Draklor. You aim to destroy us all and dominate the world. The time of darkness and all that jazz. We'll be here to stop you. Us, our children and our children's children down through the ages until the end of time itself. Don't rush back.'

 

OOC: It's Kyle. Cloud is one of his old teammates. XP

BIC: "I'm fine." he said, "Just feeling a little weak."

bic: Natalie handed him a vile she got out of her pocket...
"Take it..It really helps...Its a homemade potion that I made," she said worried about him...

 

He gulped it down and crushed the vial. "It's becoming harder and harder to control him." he said, clutching his chest.

 

Natalie saw him grip his chest...
"Are you in any pain?" she asked...

 

Ceri looked at him with sympathy.

"Do you trust me? I might be able to help but you have to trust me completely."

 

Seth looked back to the others "I only came to test their strength ,but those damn demons interfered. We are all to weak to fight right now but thers always next time" Seth thought to himself and turned away and continued walking

 

"I won't be able to hold him back forever." he said, coughing up blood.

 

Ceri held his face and stared into his eyes. Opening her mind she tried to enter his.

'Let me in Kyle. Use my strength to control him. Become one with me and allow my powers to become yours,'

 

"He's going to come out eventually." he said, letting her into his mind.

 

Natalie looked as Ceri was trying to help him....Natalie looked at Ceri...
"I hope she can help him," she thought

 

Seth started resting beside a tree

 

Natalie struted her wings...
"I'll be back soon..I'm gonna head to the river for a while," she said then fluttered off...

Ceri moved swiftly, creating mental walls stronger than material ones. She accidentally touched memories and thoughts. Kyle was suffering from a guilt they could not comprehend. He had killed his own when out of control. Once the cage was complete she withdrew. Tears streamed down her face and she hung her head.

"I'm so sorry Kyle. I never meant to know."

 

He raised her head and said "You would have found out sooner or later."

OOC: Sure you can! We could always use more demons! :D

 

"Not like this though. I......I feel terrible about the way I treated you before. You bear pain with such courage. I hide behind bravado. I even lie to myself. I'm not good enough."

Ceri turned and began to walk slowly away.

 

He put his hand on her shoulder and said "We all hide behind something. I have seen what you can do. I wouldn't have chosen you if you weren't good enough. Quit beating yourself up.

 

"I couldn't save them then and I'm useless now. Why shouldn't I feel rubbish? I've contained the beast for a while longer at least. I don't know it's full strength. I guess not everything can be solved...."
