The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

He smiled, everyone wanted to help him. It reminded him of his old team.

 

"You have more friends than you realise. You have a family, and that's important. I have one as well again and I know I will never walk alone again, just as you won't."

 

"Thank you." he said. He hugged her and smiled wider.

 

"Well I suggest we hunt down this demon Kyle and put an end to him as soon as possible."

 

"Exactly." he said. "But if we kill him, I might die as well, awake or asleep. We may have to lock him back inside me."

 

"Don't worry I wont let you die. You are too special to me. We need to catch and restrain him until we can work out how to lock him in you. He must have a weakness. Any ideas?"

 

"Just one. He and I are connected, so if you restrain me, he might be restrained."

 

"So we have to tie you up? Weird. Ok, if that's the only way then so be it. I can't say I like the idea though. I don't want to hurt you." Ceri kissed him.

 

He kissed her back and said "I know you don't."

 

"So to keep you safe in the meantime I am not leaving your side for one minute. You are stuck with me."

 

"I'm fine with that." he said, smiing

 

Ceri wondered whether he actually realised what he had agreed to. She would be with him night and day, protecting him for his demon side. It seemed a lot for him to take on. She hugged him and rested her head on his shoulder. "My brave, kind Kyle."

 

He rested his head on her shoulder and said "My loving, caring Ceri."

 

Ceri kissed him and looked in his eyes. "We'd better check on the others. It seems that your demon side will stop at nothing to get his own way."

 

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

 

Ceri took his hand. She walked with him proudly. He was so brave.

 

He smiled and walked with her.

Ceri wondered when the next demon attack would be. There had been too much quiet and it would be sudden when it occurred. She wanted to protect Kyle.

 

He hoped there wouldn't be an attack. He liked this peacefulness.

 

Ceri slid her arm around him. She was glad for the time that they had together in peace. It was as if nothing was wrong.
