turns and walks back to where natalie is

 

"Yes." he said. He looked at Ceri and asked "Want me to walk with you?"

 

"I would like that a lot. I can't create portals so I will use a more conventional method. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather escort me to the farmhouse."

 

He smiled and bowed, holding out his hand. He looked up and said "Shall we go m'lady?"

 

Without thinking Ceri took his hand in hers and held it. She realised what she had done and quickly let go. "I think I need to go home."

 

"Can I still walk with you there?" he said. However, what he really wanted to say was 'You are home.'

 

"Yes please." Ceri walked to the door and opened it. She knew that Kyle would be following behind.She turned to look at him and smiled. "It seems that I'm not allowed to leave this castle for long. I get dragged back."

 

"It's fate." he said, walking next to her and also smiling.

 

"Really? What are you trying to say Kyle? That I belong there or something?" Ceri stopped and faced him.

 

"Yes, that is what I am saying. You belong here, in the castle, with me." he said, also stopping and facing her. "That is what I believe."

 

"Well it seems the others do as well, to the point they invade my life. I don't know what to do next. Help me Kyle."

 

"I will have a talk with them." he said.

 

Ceri turned and began walking again. 'That was your chance and you blew it Kyle' she thought to herself. She walked at a faster pace.

 

Kyle had to jog to keep up. "What's with the change in pace?" he asked.

 

"It would be nice to get back to my relaxing day that I had promised myself before it's completely ruined."

"natalie i have a requst for you?"

 

"How would it be ruined?" he asked. "Oh no, did I do something to upset you?"

 

"Don't worry. I just need down time." Ceri thought to herself 'Kyle if you really want me to go back fight for me, and I don't mean with weapons. Convince me that I'm not right in leaving.'

 

"Are you sure you don't want to stay?" he asked.
