The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

"It was a stupid idea of mine and we should have fought the robots. I was a fool as usual. Forgive me."

 

"It's not your fault. It was just an accident. It was bound to happen. Don't beat yourself up about it."

 

"It's just that I want to protect you, not hurt you. You are very precious to me. I suppose that sounds silly, but it's true."

 

"You are precious to me too." he said.

 

"Shall we try the robots. I could cope with hurting them and protecting you. Am I weak?"

 

"You're not weak. You're one of the strongest people I know." he said. "How many?"

 

"You choose." Ceri prepared herself and picked up her axes. "Bring it on."

 

He pushed a button and six robots came out. "Three each." he said.

 

"Sounds good." Ceri ran in and immediately began attacking, using psychic blasts and her axes for maximum effect. She started to destroy the first robot.

 

One robot lunged at him and he cut it in half with one swing of his big sword.

 

Ceri laughed. "I'm impressed." She hacked the first one to pieces and then started on the second one. The third she hurled against the wall with a psychic blast. "You didn't say Simon Says No Powers."

 

Seth was in a nearby village killing a bunch of demons "too easy but still its my duty" Seth said as he killed the last demon and left the village

 

"No I didn't." he said laughing. He electrocuted the second till it blew up.

 

Ceri finished the last Robot and looked at all the pieces on the floor. "I suppose I'll be clearing up" she grinned. "Never mind, it was worth it. Now let's see to that wound of yours, my hero."

 

"One sec!" he said, destroying the last robot. "There!" he said, starting to take off his shirt.

 

Ceri blushed. "The first aid kit is upstairs, I'll go and get it." She ran up the stairs and grabbed the box, running back down again. "Let's see the damage."

 

He showed her the cut. He saw her blushing. "Never seen a guy without his shirt?" he asked.

 

"Now you ask, no I haven't. I've been too busy fighting demons. Does that surprise you?" Ceri blushed more and looked down.

 

He lifted her head and kissed her.

 

She kissed him back. Ceri realised that he must think she was a fool and could now see through her false bravado. Underneath she was as frightened as the others. She couldn't remember what she had or hadn't seen in her life. She had no memories, so it was as if she was a little girl again.
