The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

He staggered back. "You're a fiesty one!" He slashed at them.

 

"I'm glad you appreciate me. Now do the decent thing and die for me."

Ceri grinned manically. She screamed in his mind.

He clutched his head and fell to his knees.

 

Natalie charged her blades up for an attack....

 

Ceri grinned. "Demons gave me this gift buster. Now I'll show you what a nice gift it was."

She continued screaming in his mind, feeding all her memories and pain into him. He was the little kid being tortured.

"Enjoy the show."

 

"Damn you!" he said, vanishing into darkness.

Kyle charged towards them, growling and snarling.

 

'Kyle it's me Ceri. I know we didn't start off well but remember who you are. Come home. You're not a demon, you're a man. Return to us Kyle, please.' Ceri desperately tried to communicate with any scrap of Kyle's mind that was still rational.

 

He pounced on her and held her down.

 

'I won't fight you Kyle. I won't hurt a good man. Please don't make me, I beg you.'
Tears formed in her eyes.

 

He saw her tears and transformed back. "S-sorry." he said, then he fainted from exaustion.

 

Ceri wriggled from under Kyle. "You poor, poor man. It must be hell for you." She gathered him onto her lap and stroked hid hair. He was vulnerable and would need protecting. She could protect him even if she was too weak as a child to protect her family.

 

Natalie sighed in depression...
"Oww!" she yelled then threw her hot blades to the ground due to the charge...She looked at her burned hands...She then walked over to Ceri and Kyle...
"I'd say he's pretty tired...Here...He'll need this more than I do," she said then reached into her dress pocket...She pulled out a vile with a homemade potion....
"Oww.." she said softly then dropped it on the ground...She picked it up barly and handed it to Ceri...
"It'll help him regain his energy..." she explained..

 

"But you need it to heal. I can protect him as you've seen."

Ceri looked down at the glowing scars that were starting to fade.

"I wish that didn't happen each time" she muttered.

 

Jane walked up to them. " Is everyone alright?" She asked.

 

Natalie put the vile beside Ceri...
"I'm not saying you can't protect him..It's just a pre caution...He's REALLY gonna need it..I've got bunches of those things...I just don't have them with me rght now...Please....just for his sake Ceri," Natalie said then sat down next to her...Natalie froze her own hands to try and stop the burning...

 

"Ok then." Ceri gently raised his head and dribbled the liquid between his lips. "I hope you appreciate this buddy" she whispered.

 

He slowly opened his eyes and sat up.

 

"Woah, take it easy hero. You've had a rough time. Just don't pounce on me again."

 

"I'm sorry." he said, feeling bad. "I almost did it again."
