The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

Philippe saw Jecht go into Natalie's room. He knocked on the door. "Jecht? Natalie? Can I come in?"

He looked down. "Your right, Ceri. No one...." He looked up. "You are lucky you have someone that loves you. Someone that would die for you. When everything goes wrong, you look at that person and feel that everything will turn out okay." He laughed. "No, I haven't felt that in a while. I have only felt it for a mother. She didn't care who's child I was, she didn't let me die, either. When she was murdered, I haven't felt since." He closed his eyes. Why was he telling a complete stranger this? Because she understands....

 

"Yeah...come on in," she said still looking out the window

 

"hmmm why why is it that this happen i get sucked into the darkness and you get attacked it just doesnt seem right? say natalie wheres kimria??"

Ceri looked at the young demon with sympathy. "My parents were murdered horribly as well. When was the last time anyone showed you any warmth and kindness? You are just a child. You should be laughing and playing. Instead you fight and kill. It's a cruel unfair world. You need a friend."

 

Philippe opened the door and walked into the room, "Natalie, I just came to see if you are feeling better."

The young demon shook his head. "I am sorry for your parents. I am sorry." He looked at her. "My parents were human. They were horrified that I ws born so they abandoned me to die. They never gave me a name. I-" He couldn't go on. "I just wish that I could feel wanted. Instead, all I get are painful memories." He laughed. "I guess I do need a friend."

 

"I am...just a little bit though..She took alot of energy fromme when she left...I fear she may try again..." she said worried...

 

Ceri held out her hands to him. She realised he had been hurt so badly and abandoned.

"It's alright. I won't hurt you. I want to help as its not safe. Ultimus is out for supreme power and even Darkeon is fighting him. You need somewhere safe with friends and family. It's not a weakness. Make a new family for yourself."

 

"If she does, you have all of us to protect you." Philippe said. "Though, you are a pretty good fighter yourself."

He hesitated. "You want to help me?" He smiled and took her hands. "Thank you."

 

Ceri hugged him gently. He was just a child in a brutal war and he probably never knew the reason it started. She now walked the border between both worlds, just like Kyle.

"Come on, I'll get you something to eat. We'll have to call you something. What name do you like?"

 

"Yeah...when I'm not weak though...Nicole won't come back until I have all my energy back," she said...She reached into her pocket and pulled out her last potion...She popped the lid and took it...Giving her back her energy...

"I got to go make more potions...would you like to join me?" she asked gathering all her viles and putting them into a sack....

 

Philippe smiled. "Yes. That would be fun!"

He didn't know what to do. Ceri was hugging him. Then he heard what she had said. "I don't know yet. I want to earn my name. To show that I deserve one."

OOC: wow, I just realized that I made my characters complete opposites. They had both had rough pasts, but Philippe is happy, while my demon is depressed.

 

Natlaie smiled....She picked up her sack and pulled it behind her back like a small backpack..
"Okay..let's head out to the river...thats where most of the herbs are," she said as she walked over to the window and opened it..She jumped down and landed on the ground...She waited for Phillippe to follow

BIC: "We are on the brink of war." he said.

Kyle got what he needed and headed back. He heard voices and saw Ceri hugging someone, a guy. He felt hurt. He dropped the supplies and whispered "Ceri." He started to cry.

 

"You deserve one by being born. You certainly deserve it for surviving the cruelty. Never say you don't deserve a name."

Ceri psychically checked the area for danger. Everything seemed quiet.

"What's your favourite treat?"

 

The demon Nicole appeared at her human half and at ultimus...
"It seems you found my human half," she said emotionless

 

"There are two of you." he said, stumbling a little.

Kyle ran off, crying.

 

"hey kimria come here"

*kimria comes*

"ya jecht what is it?"

"its time we need to try again"

"but jecht you said youd never try it again what happen"

"our enemys are stonger than i thought before we try we should get everyone stocked on equipment go find natalie for me and tell her to meet me back here ok"

*nods kimria takes off*

 

Ceri sensed Kyle.

'Kyle, I need for you to meet someone. He's young and hurt inside.'

She felt his pain.

'Kyle. You've got it all wrong. Come back.'

"I'm sorry, but I have to help someone. Come with me. Learn about how a real family works. You are welcome to join mine."

Ceri released her hold on the young demon and ran after Kyle.

 

Nicole scoffed...
"When they spilt my heart in half, they seperated my demon half from my human half," she explained...She examined the human half...
"She still has the same powers..don't let the demonslayers get her, or they'll have another strong demonslayer on their team," she explained...


The human Nicole kept crying...
