The Demon Slayers vs. the Demons

Oh god! So cute! he thought, blushing. "I-I forgive y-you." he said.

 

Ceri kissed him softly on the cheek. 'He's cute when he blushes' she thought. Maybe he was right. She should take matters more seriously. This was how she coped though. Perhaps if she explained that her humour had kept her sane he might understand. Inside she was scared.

 

With the combination of what they were talking about, the look she gave him, and the kiss on the cheek. He couldn't handle all of it so, he ended up fainting.

 

Ceri raced to his side. She cradled his head in her lap and stroked his hair. The stress of the whole thing must have got to him.

ooc: lol. He fights demons and monsters but faints in the presence of 1 woman?

 

OOC: He fights demons for a living, this is something he's never delt with before. :p

 

"Oh you poor thing. Am I that frightening?" Ceri shook her head sadly.

ooc: Ooooh, scary woman time?

 

OOC: Not fear, but embarassment. He only knew his first girlfriend for a couple of weeks but didn't get too far in the relationship.

BIC: He just lay there, unconscious.

 

"Some hero. He faints and I'm left protecting him. Take back the word manly. it's a good job I can take care of myself."

 

After a couple minutes he recovered. "Wha-what happened?" he asked, dazed and confused.

 

"You fainted, hero. Not sure why. Does this happen often?"

 

"No, never." he said, sitting up. "Any idea why I did?"

 

"You tell me? I kissed you and down you fell. I feel really special now."

Ceri thought to herself 'stupid thing to say. Are you trying to drive him away?'

 

Then he remembered what happened. "It was that look you gave me, it was too cute!" he said. "I think you are very special, Ceri."

"Why is it that everytime I cry, it rains?" she asked herself...

 

"So you will faint every time I flutter my eyelashes at you? You haven't had a lot of experience as far as women are concerned, have you? Do I scare you or something?"

 

"No, I don't." he said, "And no, you don't scare me."

Ceri put her arms around him.

"It's alright. There is no need to be embarrassed. We'll be fine."

Ceri tried to shelter Kyle as it started to rain. She held her coat over him and suggested that they head for the car.

 

"Good idea." he said, taking off his cape and holding it over her.
