So I saw Voldemort in the Rp and then I found this picture and now I can't take either Orochimaru or Voldemort seriously.

 

Hello there fellow RP-ers. I'm sad to say that I am temporarily retiring from the Roleplaying until I can get my act together and come out of the small depression. I'll try to post if you TEALLY REALLY need me to, but if not, then I shall only be checking in. This shouldn't be for more than a week or two, but if its more than control of my characters falls to Cloud<3, who I trust knows exactly what to do with them.

 

Harry's not a meanie (don't feel like the bad words), it's just Voldemort's fault for killing his parents which caused him to live with probably the worst people ever even if they're his only family. Then his school years came and Fate decided to make his live more miserable after he obtained his friends by having some kind of crisis during each of his school years. Fate only left him alone after he defeated Voldemort and chose to marry a reminder of his mother. But that's me.

 

Oh man! That sucks! We'll miss you, Hero...

 

Not to mention that it's possible that one of his friends could have been The Chosen One instead of him, meaning that his parents could have still been alive if Voldy decided to go for the other kid instead.

 

I swear Dumbledore planned it all out, send Harry to abusive relatives so he'd be meek and shy and see him as a grandfatherly figure and be udne rhis thumb, besides, he says teh wards of the Dursley Hoem are protected by Love powerin- wait, lemme get this straight, when has Harry known any form of love in that house? vernon beats him daily, Petunia doesn't do it a thing and Dudley does Harry Hunting so the wards shoudl really be what's the word, oh right, not functioning at all.

 

Thus proving that Albus Dumbledore is the biggest dick/troll in all of modern literature.

 

That's why there are fanfic writers who love to put Harry in the care of other characters, create AU (alternate universes), and other stuff that ignores the plot of the series. Some are bashing fics, sometimes reading those stories are better than reading the actual series.

 

Yeah, but the it wouldn't be the same Harry. He wouldn't have learned to appreciate what he had, or how fascinated he was with the magical world.

That's what you get for having a fan of the novels in your RP.

 

And now NHB-K has some words for all of you.

"Look people, doesn't matter wha kind of universe Potter resides in since technicly they would all exist through various multiverses and spots. Infact the Fanfic writers are the ones who make these new universes depending on the way they want events to play out, so why don't we agree that there would be millions of Potters running about..especially after that blasted 'My Immortal' took the world by storm...stupid author should get the death penalty like a certain vampire author"

 

It's not SmashFan's fault for having a fan of the series in the rp, Harry Potter is one of my biggest fandoms and I'm a Harry x Hermione fan. Though I accept the ending of the series that Ms. Rowling wrote. NHB-K, I'm one of those Fanfic writers and I believe that is completely true. But I happen to like My Immortal, and don't think the author should get the death penalty. I think the 'certain vampire author' should do her research on the blood suckers more accurately. That's all I have to say.

I know it's not his fault; it's actually a good thing that we have those fans who can keep that canon attitude in an RP Like this. And I was also a fan of Harry x Hermione. He'll, I prefer Harry x Luna before Harry x Ginny, but I do respect the view that Rowling decided to take with it. It's not about what the fans want, it's what feels right for the characters.

And as for the certain vampire author, I'm going to defend her. Are the books bad? Yes they are, but they are bad because of the story telling and writing. I have absolutely no issue with vampires sparkling; you know why? Because there is something called creative liscensing. She has the right to create her own world with its own rules. It was an idea that made the story fresh and different and I can get behind that 100 percent. Like I said, the main problem with those books are the characters, the structure, and the writing, but there are worse writers out there who get published and become popular.

 

Look, what he's basicly saying is that every fanfic writer has their own opinion on what they think could happen in their mind whether it be having a yaoi couple or writing My Immortal or even redoing certain events, in other words it's alright to make what you desire and still have it work since it's your own concept

Also NHB-K's opinion on My Immortal and Twlight are his own and are not considered to be the actual thoughts of the Creator and RPer of him [Me]

 

Can someone tell me what's happened in the rp?

 

Are you that desperate or do you choose not to read the whole rp to find what's happening? Because it's only like 14 pages, which isn't that hard to read, in my opinion.
