This case is already screwed up. hahahaha.
I've been discovered, I confessed, and there are evidences to prove that I AM GUILTY, therefore, I do not wish to waste any more precious time of the court, and PLEAD GUILTY.

In the landmark case of Frendak v. United States, the court ruled that the insanity defense cannot be imposed upon an unwilling defendant if an intelligent defendant voluntarily wishes to forgo the defense.

Anwita is not intelligent! She is mentally damaged, therefore cannot be called upon to make any choice relating to her future!

A desire for justice? Pah, you have brainwashed my client into pleading guilty! Is it really justice, or your own perverted pleasure that drives you?

Drinking atop Death was my choice, and I'd done it will my own will, understanding the consequences well. I may not make the wisest decisions, but I do make them consciously.

One could argue that the following test of Anwita's intelligence is not valid due to her being incapacitated by alchohol.

Of course, technically it is not my job to argue, only to search out evidence.

However, since the prosocution attourney seems to be attending to other matters at the moment, I see the need to temporarily take his place.

Anwita seemed quite intelligent before you spiked one of my cookies and coerced her to eat it. Anything that follows is irrelevant.​

 

Spiked one of your cookies? Anything after this is irrelevant. You fell for my trap! I had already asked for a demonstration of Anwita's intellect. I then offered her a cookie. If you saw me spike it, surely she could too. Yet she still ate it, knowing that she would become drunk then have to give evidence. This proves that she must have been unable to comprehend the situation, or she has an uncontrollable addiction to your cookies.

Therefore she is unable to make decisions!

 

She only ate it because you yelled at her.

She had no prior intentions of consuming it.

She commited a crime, but she then confessed, realizing she had done wrong.
You are denying her her right to seek correction for her actions.
If you successfully defend her, she will forever live having the guilt of knowing she was a cookie theif and got away with it.
I believe that if she seeks to eleminate this future guilt, she should be able to do so.

I have known Anwita to be a highly intelligent person.
She has demonstrated this to me on many occasions.


Also, I know this has nothing to do with anything, but I think Anwita has a pretty name. :)​
