The Cold Hearts

She kept running, and slowed down enough so he could catch her.

 

Once he caught his breath he chased after her again.

 

She giggled and continued to run. She ran faster and deeper into the forest.

 

He continued to chase after her.

 

Santeria kept running and running. She ran behind a tree and into something... or someone. She fell back and hit the ground. She looked up and saw a boy with two wings. one white and one black.

"Why are you running around?" he asked , seemingly in a foul mood

BIC(if so): Shrene listened to a nearby conversation, as he happily dozed against a tree.

BIC: Santeria stood up and looked at the vampire. She knew he was, she could sense it.
"I'm just energetic," she said.

He sensed her scent and looked like he smelt her to be foul, but she was too strong to be just any regular vampire.
"what are you girl?" he asked, still in a foul mood.

 

Shrene walked through the forest and saw something with blacka and white wings, curious he tried to listen in...

 

"I'm a vampire," she answered.

"No.. You're something else. You are a vampire, but you're also human," he snarled. He couldn't stand her scent. He was almost about to lose control.

 

'a half-human? really none of my busineuss.' Shrene decided about to walk off, but unable to stand the curiousity stayed behind the tree to see wht would happen...

 

Santeria's eyes got wide.
"How do you know?" she asked.

He grinned, but not in happiness. It was more dark.
"I can smell your scent. It's powerful. It's very tempting," he said.

 

'tempting huh?! i would of taken you for more of an mature vampire, one that can resist temptation...' Shrene thought to himself.

Santeria backed up a little. She knew what tempting was and he looked out of control.
"Stay away from me," she said.

He smiled, showing his fangs. His eyes turned red, and he was craving for her blood.
"Get ready, because I'm not playing games," he growled then tackled her.

 

Shrene realised he had waited too long and leapt out ripping them apart. "wow, what kind of vampire are you?!?!" Shrene challenged. "i know exactly where you're from! you're from that damned higher vampire group who believe their superior because they have wings?!?! who gives a damn about wings, you should learn to control yourself!" Shrene realised he had gone too far and drew his sword in advance...

 

Santeria stood up tears streaming down her face.

He hissed at him and growled.
"She is the Hybrid!" he shouted then leaped for another attack.

 

Shrene stepped in the way of the attack. "well, she's still human, and that's enough reason for me to protect her" Shrene explained. "however, not only are you vampire, but you're one f the pure ones..." Shrene smiled. "i'll enjoy killing you..." Shrenen slashed at him with his sword.

 

Santeria couldn't believe her eyes. How could he know that she was the Hybrid?

He dodged his blade and flew straight up into the air. She flew down with his sword in his hand.
"I'll enjoy killing you too," he said with a dark smile upon his face. He kept his eyes on Santeria, but he still attempted to attack Shrene

 

"Please, you won't scratch me while you're distracted!" Shrene announced blocking the sword with ease. "and i'll be dead before you put a scratch on her" a fiery glint sparkled in his eye and he threw back up, leaping at him with new skill and determination.

 

"Trust me... I'll get to her before you know it," he growled. He spilt in two. One with white wings, and the other with black wings.... The one with dark wings slashed at Shrene, while the white winged one, leaped after Santeria.

Santeria set up a wall of fire around herself

 

"damn..." Shrene took the slash feeling hot blood seep out of him, and leaped in the way of the second one's attack.
