The Champion's Guild vs The Dark Guild

" Thank you" she said to him, " You really didn't have to do this"

 

"Don't worry about it!" he said, paying for their delicious meal. "Hey, you wanna go see the sunset together?" he asked as they left the resturaunt.

 

" Oh uhh, yeah that sounds like fun" she said smiling.

 

"Alright!" he said, searching for a good spot to sit. He found a bench with a perfect view of the setting sun. He sat down and motioned for her to sit next to him.

 

She nodded and sat down next to him. " You know I actually like the sunrise better than sunset. But I still love the sunset." She said relizing that she might have offended him.

 

"Hmm." he said, "Well that's interesting!" He put his arm around her and wondered if she liked him as much as he liked her.

 

" I think I like the sunrise better because it is the beginning of a new bright day, while the sunset is the beggining of a long cold night" she said remebering that her sister loved the sunset.

 

"Ah! I see!" he said, smiling. "Well don't worry! I'll keep you warm Abby!" He took off his long cape and draped it over the two of them.

 

" Oh thank you, you're too kind" she said smiling.

 

"No problem!" he said, smiling. He had to say it now! Now was the perfect time to do it!

 

She stared at the sunset.

 

He gathered all of the courage he could muster. "Abby" he said, whispering in her ear "I love you." His face turned redder than the setting sun.

 

" Y.....you....you love me?" she said astonished.

 

"Y-yes." he said, still blushing.

 

She leaned in and kissed him gently on the lips then said " Thank you I.... I'm not exactly sure what to say" she said feeling very acword.

 

Kyle's heart skipped a couple beats. "Th-thank you." he said, a little surprised. "All you have to say is what you feel Abby. And don't worry about hurting my feelings, I'll understand." He looked down at his feet, a little embarassed.

 

" I.....I really really like you alot...." She started, " But I'm not sure that I want to say I love you untill I know that it's true." She said softly, feeling really bad.

 

"It's okay." he said, looking down again. "It's better to tell the truth than to say something that you don't really feel."

 

" Thank you for understanding." She said queitly, she felt horrible.

 

"I'm sorry I brought it up." said Kyle.
