Phase two of house-hunting: went for a drive to see a bunch of houses, walked in one and it was AMAZING!!!! May be realising a new career in real estate...hmmmm....

I was kind of in my own world, especially while cleaning the house. Good news is I got to spend a lengthy amount of time texting one of my friends in Europe and I'm glad he's doing good, apparently there's some horrendous weather where he is.

Today I worked a shift I wasn't supposed to but now I have more income! Today was also payday, so now I can buy food! I got a really late Christmas present (pajamas and socks awww yeah!), and I made some paper stars!

 

Last night a friend and I drove to the city, went to Hastings, ate some Arby's and then went to a ten-dollar concert featuring around six different artists, and one of them opened with the instrumental from Moby's Extreme Ways, which, for anyone who doesn't know it by the name, is the song they play during the credits of all four Bourne movies. The show ended with one of my all-time favorite bands: SKILLET!!! I finally saw them live! It was so awesome! After the show, I bought their newest CD for 8 bucks! Then my friend and I stopped at Wendy's on the way home and got chocolate Frosty's. (Frosties? What's the plural here?) So that was yesterday, one of the best nights of my life.

This morning started out with me sleeping through my alarms and waking up late and with a hoarse voice (because SKILLET!!!) and I had like, an hour and a half to write a puppet skit due to be performed this morning, and I had to sing on stage, but I was still extremely happy (because, again, SKILLET!!!) I got the skit done easily and it was really good, and then my voice held out and I even led a song because the leader also had been to the concert and her voice was completely gone. And I got a call to come in for a job interview! I'm gonna go tomorrow. Wish me luck!

All in all, I've had a very great weekend.

I finally sent off that Christmas gift for my friend who lives in another province. I fixed my library card (there was an issue with me being under my mom's card when I wasn't a minor anymore), got the rest of my rent, opened a savings account, bought pencil crayons, and had a generally good day.

 

Oh I keep falling behind on this!

Played Mah-jong for the first time ever and beat all my friends. I still have no idea what I was doing, now that I think about it, lol

Finished KH3D and worked out how to play KH2 on my computer :) woop woop!!! Also saw that I don't have to work on Sundays anymore, yay for going out on saturday nights!! :)

Got this cable today that connects my guitar to my computer, so I can record much goodly :P wooooo!!!

I caught a Feebas on Pokemon Emerald!!! Months of on and off searching have finally paid off!!!

Then, I started watching the second half of Inu Yasha Final Act with my brother. Inu Yasha was basically our childhood. It was our first anime that wasn't Pokemon etc. and we watched every episode.

Figured out FL Studio (finally!) and saw the Hobbit. OMFG THAT IS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE LIKE WHAT :D

I got the day off, I made boiled cookies and spaghetti sauce, and today is Anime Day!!!

Headed home from work and started learning I See Fire from The Hobbit on my guitar. That solo bit is quite challenging, but it's so cool! I also decided to clean out half of my wardrobe, and I'm going on a shopping spree soon to get some new clothes. yay!

At work I got an unexpected surprise visit from my boss (that wasn't awesome), but what was good was she made me do all these things and my shift went really quickly. When I got home I went for a swim because it was so goddamned hot and then I practiced. It was a good day.

Got home and decided to start recording. I worked hard, but sadly there were no good takes :( I have the blisters on my fingers to prove it! But at least I worked out all the harmonies in the song! Woo!

...Can anyone tell me how to stop falling behind?! Ugh.

When I got home I got two new boxes! Now I have three really cool ones including the one I got for Christmas. I like boxes.

BACKSTORY!!! About a year ago, my brother's PSP stopped reading discs for whatever reason. Very tragic, considering he hadn't finished (or started really) BbS and all his KH theories were pretty much wrong. END BACKSTORY!!!

I found a PSP at the flea market, it works perfectly and comes with a case, game case, car charger, and 4 games for $50. Hello brother's New Years' gift!

Having cleared out half my wardrobe, I decided to replace it all by shopping. It was amazing! And then I went and saw Frozen, which was also amazing!

Began downloading a whole bunch of Disney movies which I will be watching sometime later on

I headed to one of the nicest clubs in Sydney just for a night out. Shame the dancefloor was too packed to actually move or anything, but otherwise I had a really good time :)

Went out to dinner with some newly made friends at a Japanese restaurant. SO MUCH BETTER THAN TAKE AWAY SUSHI OMG. yes yes it was very nice. I would've loved to chill at the casino with them afterwards but I had work the next morning

Dinner again (lolwut I'm popular what is this). Went to a pub for dinner and I HAD ONION RINGS! I LOVE ONION RINGS SO MUCH I WAS LIKE OMG WOW. In other interesting news my friend in Europe sent me a text out of the blue just asking if I'm okay, and the weird bit was I've been having a bit of trouble with stuff. It's like he knew!! He has some weirdass telepathy sh*t going on!! :P
