Then he looked at Mayya.''Well, I'm flattered you wanted to talk to me, so is there anything I can do to avoid being in two conversations at once?''

"well....do you know anything of the Shadow godess curse? someone told me you would know"

 

Kain lost his smile. Instead it turned into a faded smirk. ''Well, that's a mouthful you just said there.
''I don't really know much, but it's a curse given to sinners.'', he said in a low tone. ''The shadow goddess is supposedly very low on tolerance with sinners.''

He frowned an shook his head. ''I would'nt know. Try asking the priest. Maybe he can tell you something.''

 

"why dose everyone tell me that...the priests are idiots and refuse to even tamper with the curse"

He looked a bit surprised then looked timid again. ''Oh. I see. And you were looking for me because?.....''

 

"as i said before..someone told me someone named kain in this village would know...now i am starting to think my hunt has hit a dead end"
