Kingdom Hearts II the big question

alright i have a question. i am a huge fan of the kh series (hence why im here in the first place) but im gonna ask the stupidest question here. What exactly IS Kingdom Hearts anyway? from what ive seen its either a big moon thing or a door thing. I think its the heart of all worlds, but its different everywhere. Expecting tons of "thats a dumb question" responses so dont dissapoint. XD

 

kingdom hearts......i forgot what exactly wat it is but all i remeber is that it's a big part of the keyblade and hearts go in there

Kingdom Hearts is where all hearts are stored.

It looked different in KH1 and KH2 because the real Kingdom Hearts was in KH1. Xemnas was buillding his own version in KH2, to replace the hearts of the Organization, which is why it looked like a heart-shaped moon.

It's not a dumb question at all. It can be quite confusing.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhoohohohoho i get it now. all right. seriously thanks. although i would have picked a better design. Mine would have been gorilla shaped. a gorilla shaped moon floating in the sky. but hey its xemnas.

 

It's technically the source of all hearts hence the name KINGDOM HEARTS.

I have to disagree with that.Kingdom hearts comes in many shapes and forms.The one in KH2 is the same as the one in the BBS secret ending video.

I think In KH1 I saw a Dark heart-shaped moon behind the Kingdom Heart's Door, and In KH2 We all saw the Door where we fight Xemnas.
But in Birth By Sleep it's the KH2 one, so I think Kingdom Heart's is the Moon thing.
