Video the best video editor?

what is the best video editor? i know nero, but, it only can use mpg as its output format, what's the other which use WMV/AVI as output?

 

I'm not sure if you're talking about free video editors or software that you have to buy or free software. If you want free use Windows Move Maker or Wax 2.0, biut if you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a really good one buy VegasPro 7 or 8 or Adobe Premiere CS3, which is several hundred dollars. I want ot by Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus because I downloaded a demo and it's like a glorified WindowS Movie Maker bur it has multiple overlay tracks for split screens and tons of other stuff and it's79.99 on Amazon.

 

what's the output of all of them, can u explain me?

 

you could buy pinnacle studio for $150 and be content for the rest of your life...

Is Pinnacle Studio 11 Plus ay good? They have it at Best Buy, and I might go get it.

 

Windows Movie Maker comes free on alot of pc's, it's pretty easy to use and i've seen people make amazing videos out of this program. Alot of people use Vegas, and it's a load more visually specific than WMM.

 

I know, I have it and I want to do more with my videos than windows movie maker can do for me.

Vegas is the best. You can use WMM though if u arent willing to spend the money (like $120 in america, i think). Windows Movie Maker gets the job done.

I don't think we should talk about stealing software via the internet. I paid a nice price for my new editing software, Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus snd it's great, the only thing it can't do is makw videso with transparent bacxkgrounds, but it has video overlays and chroma keying..

 

WMM gets the job done, is free, and is pretty simple to use. If you're not content with it ( I wasn't at first :) ) you could always download some more effects or transitions. I prefer Blaines- google Blaines WMM effects.

 

After Effects, easily. But it's very expensive.

 

The best video editors cost too much. Literally...

 

Sony Vegas version 8 is supposedly the best, however it's expensive. HOWEVER, you CAN get a free trail for a month by downloading it from their site. but i don't like it, it's NOT user friendly unlike good ol' Windows Movie Maker.

 

Sony Vegas is apparently better... I've never used it, but that's what I heard. I prefer WMM. Just because it's free, doesn't mean it's not good.

 

I like Windows Movie Maker, it's easy, and it's a good editor if you are really good with it.
