    Call of Duty series pl0x.

Halo sux balls. . . Call of Duty (especially 4) owns it. Anyone can hop up and down and spray their opponent. Sorry, but its true. The James Bond series was amazing, I must admit. But since CoD isn't on the list, I'd say Metroid takes the cake. Mmmm.. Cake.

Out of that list, i'd have to say Goldeneye. Me and a few of my friends got together and played the four player multi for like 5 hours straight. It was in my top 3 favorite multiplayer experiences of all time. The game is simply amazing.

But how could you forget Call of Duty? Or MoH? Half life? Orange Box? These are some really great games which have been completely overlooked by your little poll.

Call of Duty 4 is by far the best game i've ever played.
The single player campaign is great. It has a good, original storyline, a wide variety of missions(all ghillied up ftw), and it actually takes some intelligence and strategy. The addition of being able to shoot through cover is very good. It adds some excitement to the game. Sure, sitting behind some indestructible cover in games like Halo and whatnot and occasionaly popping up to shoot at people is okay and all, but having to move and shoot and stay on your toes is just more fun. I like the fact that you don't have to spend time switching through grenades, too. And sniping in CoD4 is my favorite. I like how you can hold your breath to steady the shot, and how if you hold it too long your reticle goes a bit wacky.

If you'd like to talk about graphics, CoD4 wins there too. Halo 3 is very nice looking, sure, but CoD4 just looks...real.

Multiplayer is more appealing to me for CoD than Halo. Halo has a wide variety, and ranking and all that, but after a while it gets kinda old. With CoD you have different classes, and levels, and all those cool little perks. Depending on how you configure your player, it could be a completely different expirience every time you play.

Also, on a small side note, knife kills are so much better.

Wow. If you actually payed attention to the thread ITSELF you'd know that it's FPS. Gears of War is not an FPS. Noob.
