I never really wanted to get into Halo, you basically started it.

Anyway, I find that Perfect Dark, along with THE BEST graphics of the N64, has THE BEST gameplay and storyline of almost any game ever, I think.

Another question: Quake. Where is it? You seem to hardly know many First Person Shooters. :/

Yeah...because I am angry that MOH and Call of Duty aren't on there...I also think that you should have added an "other" option in case people bother you about random games that nobody cares about(sorry but some random games aren't liked by everybody).

No, I meant that we were having a discussion about Halo, then you mention Perfect Dark. Perfect Dark didn't have any better graphics than Turok: Dinosaur Hunter or Golden Eye: 007. The gameplay was great, yes, and the story gave a great feel that wanted you to get through the level to see the next cutscene. The complaint I had with PD, like I did with Turok and 007, was that the AI would sometimes be unresponsive and be oblivious to your location. This made the game easy on a few parts, and it really brought the game down a little for me.

I pick none of the above. Apparently not a lot of people know of the FPS game I like best. <_<

    O well...

But if I had to choose...I pick Halo. Mainly because I have never played anything else on the list.

Well from the choices, I'd have to say goldeneye. God I loved that game. But I prefer Half-life over anything.

    Uh...Call of Duty 4 please.

Call of Duty 4 is amazing, in my opinion. The graphics blew me away when I first played, and sometimes they still do. During campaigne your squadmates' AI is great, and even though you're playing alone, it feels like you're not. The enemy AI is pretty impressive too. Meaning, if you're hiding and you're in cover, chances are enemy wont know you're there, unlike in Gears of War, where every single enemy already knows where you are. The online, like SJ said earlier has less super-egotistic gamers (from my experience). The weapons are pretty neat, especially in online, where you can create your own class and customize your character's combat.

I voted Metroid although I don't really consider it a FPS. Would have voted for Half-Life if it was there though. >|

Metroid gets number 1. I mean it has sold FPS gameplay that's more than LOL, SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT, KILL KILL KILL. You actually have to consider the type of thing your fighting, and you have to choose, should I shoot it with my beam? Or with my missiles? Or try one of my other gadgets? Plus, Metroid has a much better storyline than anything out there, with the exception of Half-Life. Plus, there's lots of stuff to collect, things to scan, and puzzles to solve.

I would've picked Half-Life if it was on the list though. It's not really like Halo at all. Halo is a good game, that's made into superb one by it's multiplayer, and huge amount of popularity.

Halo of course. It had a good story, and multiplayer is fun. It's the game that pratically MADE the xbox, and xbox live.

Freakin' Goldeneye. Hands down. Best multiplayer game EVER. Halo is just an inferior carbon copy to meh. XP

Reason I dun't like HALO is because it's WAY too overhyped and I fail to see what's so great about it. It surely didn't bring anything new to the genre and it didn't seem like fun and most online matches are....XD

GoldenEye however, cracked me up. I had so much freakin' fun with it and was one of those games that could be enjoyed to its fullest with another player. Back then, it was more like a bit like family fun and friendly fun instead of the rather hostile stuff we get on online matches. Whatever happened to havin' fun? D:

I'm going to have to say that Goldeneye and Doom are the best of the best. My personal favorite right now is a Tie with Halo 2 and Metroid Prime 3.
