"That's why I don't date anymore," Reed muttered under his breath. "OK!"
Reed started sprinting at a mile-eating pace. "Should be there in no time!"

 

"H-hey! Oh nevermind, no point calling...." she says shrugging then ran off too. She couldn't catch up to him but she was still pretty fast. Oh gosh, Reed's real fast. Not just on air but land too. Though I still want to use this form right now, I'll get to the destination anyway.... though, I could be a little late..

 

"Somewhere around here," Reed murmered. Reed suddenly stopped and looked at Sharix.
"Do you know where we go from here? I know the village should be somewhere around here, but it seems to illude me. I can't sense other people for some reason..."

 

Sharix ran up to him, she took a few deep breaths. "hmm...." she said looking around. She sniffed the air a bit and her cat ears twitched. "Well, it's that way- I think the village your talking about is somewhere I've been before."

 

"Thats good luck then," Reed said slightly happily. "Phew, this guy better pay us, or he's going to pay in a different kind!"

 

"no, more like pay you. Since ya are the one carrying him...uh...sorry 'bout that by the way." Sharix said then looked at the direction where she said it might have been, "alright, let's get going then!" she adds starting to walk ahead.

 

"It's okay. I probaly wouldn't let you anyway. Stupid manners," Reed smiled. "So it's that way?" he asked, pointing where she had. "Better get started!" he yelled and started running again.

 

Sharix had started running too.

 

"So...Where are you from? I don't see many people like you around here," Reed asked as he continued to run.

 

"Is it good or bad that there aren't many people like me? Hee, hee! Just kidding, forget I even said that. Though I really don't know where the heck I come from, if I did I must have just forgotten it." Sharix said running aswell. "How about you, where do ya come from?"

 

" A small village just south of the Emerald Sea," Reed told her. "It's a very nice place. I enjoyed it there. MAybe I can help you find out about your past? If that's what you're planning..."

 

"That's why I'm on a journey actually. then, thank you" Sharix said.

 

Sharix and Reed finally reached the village, tired and exhausted.
"That's the last time I stay up all night running!" Reed groaned as he shifted Wes on his shoulders. "There seems to be the doctors!" Reed exclaimed happily. He started to stumble towards a building seemingly carved out of grey stone, and had a wooden sign over the door bearing a red cross and the words "The healers Ward".

 

"Yesss!!! Finally!" Sharix said following him.

 

Reed knocked he door open with his shoulder and staggered halfway across the room.
"Yes," asked a very scientific male voice.
"This man needs attention," Reed explained, lowering Wes on to a bed.
"What happened to him?" the doctor asked, standing in his white uniform looking at some medical documents.
"A lot. He fell about 20 feet," Reed informed the doctor.
"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING?" the doctor shouted in shock, falling backwards.

 

Sharix ran up to the doctor, grabbing him by he collar. "Look, this happening to him wasn't our fault her fell from the sky out of no where! now, are you going to help this dude or not?!" she said, breathing quite heavily still exhausted.

"Sur..Sure!" the doctor stuttered, standing up straight away and pulling medical equipment looking at Wes.
"How long do you reckon it will take?" Reed asked Sharix. The doctor muttered and oulled out more tools and stowed some away.

Sharix raised her shoulders. "I dunno, seeing that he's fallen and stuff like that. I think it'll take a while."

 

Reed nodded in agreement. "Makes sense." Reed looked at Wes. "So, what do we do in the meantime?"
