The Battlefield Of Broken Hearts

"Somethings going on. I'm just gonna scout the ground for a bit," Reed informed. Reed fell to the ground running and looked around. Fire. Lots and lots of fire.

 

Sharix just looked down still up in the air. She flew over to a high spot looking down at where Reed was with all the fire. As soon as she landed she turned into her other angel-looking form. She watched from above.

 

"Sharix, can you see what happened?" Reed asked.
"It went on fire?" Sharix observed.
"Obviously, but how?" Reed wondered as he stepped blindly in to the fires.

 

"heck, how should I know!?" Sharix said. She sighed. "whatever the cause, best to put it out and then we can investigate if still needed." she says jumping down.

 

"Good idea," Reed agreed. Reed raised his hand towards a river and, using dark energy, lifted some of its water and started to spread it over a certain area. Strain showed on his face as he struggled to keep the dark energy solid and strong enough to keep water in the air.

 

"so much for having fun with this form.." she said sighing as she turned back to normal. "alright I dunno how I can help right now but I'll do my best." She flew up and her wings flapped wildly, some of the fire gone out- but still not all of it. Sharix already grew slightly tired.

 

"Oh this is useless!" Reed complained and pulled out his katana. The katana's form seemed to flow into a great sword as Reed slashed towards the river, the dark energy splitting a path in the ground towards the fire. The water gushed into the crack and splashed all over the fire. "Man, that's gona hurt tommorow," Reed gasped. A figure stood engulfed by the few flames left.

 

Sharix went back down. Falling on her knees exhausted.

 

Reed placed his hand on Sharix's shoulder as he walked past. "Thanks," he said in an undertone. Reed walked past a looked at the figure. "Who are you?" Reed asked.
"Do you really want to know?" The figure replied.

 

Sharix just watched.

 

"I am someone who has been watching your journeys. Ever since the war began," The mysterious figure murmered.
"Which means what?" Reed asked yet again.
"There are some of you, some destined for great things. I am neither friend or foe. Just a watcher," continued the enigma. And with that, the figure dissipated into the wind like dust.

 

"well that was weird...." Sharix said.

 

"Yeah, it was" Reed agreed. "Where do you have to go? I might as well join you, I've got no idea what to do know."

 

"um ok then...actually I just go around I guess. I have nothing to do everyday- but fight, fly, drink blood and just have fun- but it's usually boring." she says sighing.

 

"Drink blood?" Reed asked, rubbing his neck uneasily. Reed looked at the moon. "Let's follow the moon. It's served me before" Reed sugested.

 

"alright, sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable or anything from what I said..." she says.

 

"It's okay. Just not used to people saying that," Reed said sorrowly. "I know a city where there's a lot of people. You can bite their necks or whatever if you want and I can find out more information. The moon lightens it tonight"

 

"oh...cool." Sharix said, she changed back into her normal angelic look. "so let's go?"

 

"Indeed..." Reed murmured, going out of character for a moment. Reed shook his head. "Stop doing that with my head." Reed jumped towards the moon, his leap taking him a long distance before he spread his wings.

 

"er...." Sharix says from hearing Reed. She looked up and followed him,leaping really high. "I forgot I can't fly in this form! Eek!" Sharix said, falling. She transformed again to her normal form right before hitting the ground. She flew up again, "hehe....my bad..."
