He only did it because some of the things you said were wrong. The names he gives are the offical ones.

Awsome job, Kanji. That is alot of good work. The awakening theory explains alot. There is one thing I would like to comment on, though. I like the fusion theory, because I think Larry looks alot like Xehanort, and although he isn't old he could have had premature white hair growth due to trauma. The second one makes the most scence, but it would work even if he didn't lose his memory. Larry's body, Baldy's mind, and Baldy's heart wind up in Radiant Garden with Ansem the wise. He may have no memories of Larry, but he would still have his own. He would reasise that the expariements Ansem the Wise is doing are the key for him to get out of this mess, so he pretents he has no memory. After getting rid of Ansem the wise, he actually loses his mind for some reason, sees a bunch of reports signed "Ansem," sees he is in charge, and assumes he is Ansem. This explains why he "pretended" to be Ansem, and why Xemnas without the X is Ansem(with the X is "mansex"???) and not Xehanort or Baldy(Xyblad???), because he truely thought he was Ansem.

Great theory, probably the best I've heard so far! I love the idea of the third existiance being called the "Awakened," it just seems to feel right to me. A few points I would like to add based off the new reports released.

*I believe "Fate of the Unknown" takes place in the realm of Darkness version of the Crossroads, in the past. The way I see it, it is sometime after Mickey trains, he shows up as he does at the end of the trailer. During the trailer we can see Kingdom Hearts starting to open but maybe Mickey doesn't fully understand what this means. After those events Mickey goes in search of "Larry" (or the remains of Baldy to be exact) and finds Ansem, as described in the Ansem Reports. Mickey assumes all is well since Ansem remebers nothing, and goes back home. However, because the door to Kingdom Hearts is open worlds start to disappear, so the close the door Mickey has to return to the realm of Darkness to get a Keyblade to close the door from the other side(which happens in at the End of Kingdom Hearts I).

Hakumi! That's a great theory, and it all fits! Well done, and the awakening theory is great!

Very good take on the reason for Mickey's presence indeed. A few loops, however :
-Nomura said explicitly that this heart-shaped moon wasn't Kingdom Hearts.
-if Mickey obtained the Dark Realm Keyblade only after Fate of the Unknown, why does he have the Star Seeker ? Which keyblade is that ?

I think this is all a rrrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllyyyyyy good theory. In fact it makes a TON of sense. Because the Heart was never 'properly' represented. The heart was just shown as a Heartless. But its not a heart because of the darkness. Really good idea my favorite part of the whole thing. Anyway, i think that Nomura will pull another CoM type thing on us. Chain of Memories is a fun game dont get me wrong but if you didnt play it you wouldnt be hindered in understanding KHII's storyline. CoM helps explain stuff and shows you the other 5 Org members (Marly, Larxene, Lexaeus, Zexion, and Vexen). I think that Nomura will have the next KH game not have Sora as the main charachter but just in it during the ending. Perhaps the end is Sora's next journey begining. None the less this is a mucho bueno theory! :p

if I remember correctly there was no such things as heartless until after Xeha kept messing with them...or did my brain mess up

Nope, thir13en, you are right. You brain isn't messing with you. But how could Xeha become a heartless before they were created? hmm..

well, I assume he gets the Star Seeker from Yen Sid, just as Sora does in Kingdom Hearts II. And the Dark Realm Keyblade would be the one he has at the end of Kingdom Hearts I, and in COM.

Something interesting I found, while browsing around.
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=_Qu7Oj6P6hc

In the descriptions it lists what the Enigmatic Soldier, or Alta/Terra/Larry (as the many names that people term him [especially since Nomura is going with the air, water, ground, and Aqua and Ven take up water and air respectively]) states that all he has left is his hatred for Xehanort.
Perhaps this solidifies your theory even more, since the old fart could be Xehanort's true form, and possessed our Enigmatic Soldier. That would explain why Xemnas can double image himself, and each fight so well.

Though, the use of Keyblades makes things a little confusing. Perhaps it has mostly to do with the newer looking Xehanort appearing after the war, without any memories.

Which leads me to another idea. Castle Oblivion was a place to study memories, and uncover them, right? How odd that an entire castle could be built for Sora, seeing as how he only recently came into possession of the Keyblade.
Perhaps Castle Oblivion's true purpose was to serve as Xemnas' path to his memories. A way to get to the memories deep within his heart, by reliving experiences in his past he may not remember.

So it could be theorized that where the Room of Sleep was in The World that Never Was, and the Room of Awakening was actually hidden in Castle Oblivion. What happened to the castle afterwards is questionable, but I suppose it's pointless now, right?

In any case, I also have sneaking suspicions that the trailer featured isn't a game at all. Remember, Nomura stated that none of the soldiers were Sora, but we also know that Sora's story has to continue. Perhaps the trailer is in fact a movie, a full length pre-story for KH3, which will continue Sora's story, while also using information from KH0.

As for Mickey, I'm pretty sure we can assume that Mickey has the magic of longevity, right? I mean, think about the Timeless River. I'm pretty sure that was placed before Keyblades existed, so it's safe to assume that Mickey might actually be hundreds of years old, but like most Disney characters, is still pretty young for his age. I know, it's kind of a cop-out answer, but if this KH0 is a game, then any worlds they use will have to be taken out of KH3, and let's face it, you can only play the same world so many times.
This also supports KH0 being a movie more than a game.

If it does so happen to be a game, then it more than likely will follow the formula of world-fight-cutscene where more of the past is exposed to the player, and history somewhat repeats itself.

Personally I believe the over-shadowing theory. The evil man tries to awaken Kingdom Hearts, only to fail. After ward, since he was defeated and all that, takes over Alta/Terra/Larry's body, in order to try again. But in doing so, his heart and A/T/L's heart clash, and make a new heart, leaving all the memories of both characters behind, thus creating the one we know as Xehanort today.
My only head-tilter is the fact that Xemnas looks EXACTLY like he did when he had a heart, and we know he HAD to have one, since Xemnas relates the name Ansem as familiar to him. (In KH and KHFM, when Goofy questions "Ansem?" and Xemnas replies with "Yes..that sounds familiar" and in the end of the fight says "I am but an empty shell)
Could it be because the body is already a fusion of two, and thus couldn't change anymore, or did the KH2 production team just not want to give away too many spoilers with a character model that might lead to the story being given away? Personally, I say the second option, but the first could always be plausible.

Either way, that's what I'm thinking.

Damn you unknowns! You say things that we don't understand yet! And you have so many, they're coming out of your @$$.

  11. Just to ask, was it ever confirmed from Nomura himself that Riku was the original keyblade wielder? If so, could you show it?

Maybe he confirmed it in the Secret Report, but I thought that was clearly stated in the KH1 : Riku was originally meant to use the keyblade from the realm of light, how else could he have taken it from Sora ?

  13. So he hasn't mentioned it? I guess I need to check out Secret Report. When Malificent (it was her, right? Ugh. Have to watch the videos) said that Riku was the original, I felt like it was to reel him in even more, you know? Like you're better than him, you can save and protect Kairi, etc. The way she said it applied to.

Plus, you have to remember now. They keyblade, as Nomura said, goes to a strong heart, no matter if evil or good. Anyone who's heart is strong enough can wield it.

I'm thinking that the times when Riku took the keyblade from Sora, he had a stronger heart, because despite him doing it the wrong way, he just wanted to help Kairi, since Sora "betrayed" him and left. The time when Sora took it back in Hollow Bastion, his heart was stronger.

And add to the fact that, it was Sora who had the Awakening (as far as has been confirmed, and Roxas, but we all know why), and the keyblade appeared to him first in DI, and that disembodied voice spoke again without him dreaming, saying, "Keyblade..., "keyblade...", "keyblade...".

And even the Awakening itself. It said Sora holds the mightiest weapon of all. Why would it say that to him if Riku was originally meant to wield it?

So I'm looking for that Nomura quote to see if my suspicions could be trashed. And then I'll be fine.

the part TALES OF FUTURE PAST is the most interesting, but i cant agree more with you :)
this theory is great, and i hope that this is the way, this turns out, in KH3

this is an amazing theory, better than any other ones i've seen. But, since you said that Sunset Horizon and Fate of the Unknown happen in different times, i got confused. You said in Sunset Horizon the three soldiers were Sora, Riku, and Kairi. In the beginning of the whole thing you see (i think) Sora (or Riku) standing on top of that... thing... But theres a problem. they are holding the same Keyblade (or just sword) as LARRY! I didn't see an explanation in your theory of that. My guess is that when you face Larry in KH2FM (also known as Enigmatic Soldier) he is simply testing your skillz in fighting. He wants to know if you can really beat Xehanort's Heartless. Then, later, he gives you his suit of armor and his weapon (dunno why) and that is why you see his suit of armor in Sunset Horizon.

    I liked that theory!
It had some great points in there, I liked the first part about the soul and mind.

Yes, that pretty much explains how and why our 3 friends have the 3 knights' armors and keyblades. Regarding this, I'd like to say I sort of started a KH fanfiction called Tales of Future Past, which stems from this theory.
