There's Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes on Disney! It's not bad, and it's on it's second season now, so we'll see XD

I just came back from watching Avengers. Currently, my ears are bleeding because that movie blew my mind away.

I loved the back and forth between Iron Man and Captain America. Two different kinds of energy that seemed to be constantly going at it, but they knew how to work together. If the next movie is just between those two, I would be standing in line weeks in advance to see it. The last twenty minutes was probably the best "protect the city" sequences I have ever seen. My favorite part (besides Stark making that missile his bitch) was the long, single shot sequence of seeing everyone fighting together.

To whoever was talking about a sequel, I'm just going to copy paste from Wikipedia:

    "
In October 2011, producer Kevin Feige said during the New York Comic Con, "Iron Man 3 will be the first of what we sort of refer to as phase two of this saga that will culminate, God willing, in Avengers 2".[192] In March 2012, Joss Whedon stated that he would want a sequel to be ". . . smaller. More personal. More painful. By being the next thing that should happen to these characters, and not just a rehash of what seemed to work the first time. By having a theme that is completely fresh and organic to itself."[193] At the premiere of The Avengers, Feige said they have an option for Whedon to direct The Avengers 2 when and if the time comes.[194] In May 2012, after the successful release of The Avengers, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced a sequel was officially in development.[195]"

Considering that we officially have an Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, and I think an Incredible Hulk 2, I'm assuming they're going to do the same thing they did with Avengers. That is, loosely connect the individual movies so they can stand alone as a great movie by itself and a series within a series (Iron Man series within Avengers series), but allowing them to easily connect into an Avengers 2. I think I read somewhere about a Fantastic Four reboot. If they do that, not only will we not have to worry about Chris Evans playing Human Torch and Cap, but they can totally tie in FF into the Marvel Cinematic Universe using the Chitauri. Since one of FF's main enemies is Super Skrull, I can see them doing that. But that movie would probably really expensive. Like...impossibly expensive. What I would love to see is a Marvel Cinematic Universe where they don't need to make a single movie with all characters. In the way comics exist in the same universe without being a single issue, but characters can appear in various comics, movies should do the same, if that makes sense. X-Men, FF, Avengers, Spider-Man, even the Marvel Knights movies.

That would be a really cool idea. And I was reading up on Thanos after the movie, and I saw that when he first came to earth to get the cube, the avengers + spider man and The Thing teamed up with the avengers. That would be cool to see that happen.

Oh how I hope the Fantastic four reboot is better.
Captain America 2 I heard was planned for release in 2014 and follows the events of The Avengers.

YES!! It's been eating away at me for days now what the plot for Cap 2 is gonna be. D: I'm a fan, so I'm particularly curious about this one, among the 'phase 2' movies.

Seeing The Avengers had to be the best movie experience I’ve ever had. It was the first time I saw a 3D movie, so I was already blown away by that, and ughhh. the movie itself was just amazing. I seriously want to go see it in theaters again. I can’t stop gushing.

Alright, I know I'm just a bit late on this, but I went to go watch The Avengers with a few of my friends. I didn't really have an idea of what to expect and beforehand, I had only seen Iron Man and Iron Man 2, so I went into the movie not knowing much about Captain America or Thor.

I just can't believe how amazing the movie was, there CGI effects were incredibly impressive, and the story wasn't half-bad either. I was just so blown away from the greatness that was this movie, and I can honestly say, I hope to see a second one.

This movie kinda sucked. I hated it because the fans over hyped it. That just ruined it

How DARE you have a negative opinion about a movie I liked! /sarcasm

In all seriousness, I thought it was a really good movie. Not the "Amazing Epic Heart-Stopping Thrill Ride" that 90 percent of the internet made it out to be, but still one of my favorite Marvel Super Heroes movies.

There were some cheap jokes, lame lines, and predictable moments, but hey, it's a superhero film after all ;p haha.
The movie was great! It was so well put together that even non-superhero fans could enjoy it thoroughly.
The action was amazing, particularly the main and last battle in the city.

    You also feel the emotions during some of the scenes. Don't wanna give anything away though so I won't say any more on that subject(;

    I wish I could've seen Thor though.
Edit: Thor as in the film. Not the character. I'm well aware that he played a part in the avengers lol
