The Australian Election

What do you all think about Labor winning the election? Personally I think that Australia will realize what a good job the Liberal party were doing and wish that it had gone the other way.

Well It really depends. Like people say, 'Never judge a book by Its cover' so maybe, once they move Into General Business a bit more, Australia will see If Labor Is good or not.

Either way It doesn't really matter to me, seeing as though I'm still young.

 

Hmm that's true. And to AngelsNeedFlight, I loved the Rove parody of that Labor one. I didn't like, however, how the ads essentially turned to direct verbal assaults, flaming, really (um, heheh) "Labor will stuff our economy" etc.

 

Personally, I'm glad Labor won, as I think they care more about us young ones than John Howard and the Liberals.

Well, I'm 16 and I just don't like the way Rudd presents himself. He seems like a bit of a salesman. Good to see some Australians here, by the way.

 

I guess he does, but John Howard wasn't that good himself either right? I mean, sure he was good at the start and all that, but after that he made a few stuff ups.

However, I still think politics are a load of crap, as they're all basically a bunch of liars that try to out-lie each other. :)

well i never really gave a crap about politics, i even had to do an assignment about who i thought should win and it sent me strait to hell... but whatever people think now it doesnt matter. kevin rudd is now our prime minister and all we younger people have to do is watch him fall downhill... one trip and slip at a time....
