but thats mean, it's mot like with the teacher there the kids gonna get drunk and crash or anything, and also with the friends thing that should be an automatic yes! friends are like really important

 

Possibly you could get in the van with the teacher driving? That way you still have a....Older..Person driving and parental supervision?

 

First off, we're college kids going to a baptist university. That pretty much rules out any chances of liquor. Second, my parents are more concerned about driving in the dark; she has a pretty good idea about a kid's 'night vision'.

I already suggested that to my parents, but they're still not for it. They've pretty much guarentee to take me to the same place during it's homecoming, due to recent events that I can't say yet, but all the same, I'm not hopeful.

 

Aww geeze! Dx Your older then me but my dads like, "Oh you can walk back 2 miles away from our house in the dark by yourself."

I'm so sorry to hear that DC.

I can't help much since I've never had this experience before. But seeing how the distance isn't TOO far, I think a lot of parental supervision is not needed. Maybe you could get another trusted adult to talk to your parents?

But if ur in college, couldn't u just go by urself? oO

 

It's not quite as simple as all that. I can't find anything anywhere to save my life. Yes, I could go by myself (I still remember how to get there), but my parents worry about me, and everywhere I go. I'm the first in my family, so my parents always worry about what I do and what I go through. Add to the fact that my mom got very sick once worrying about my being two hours away from home, two hours that, btw, if I were to get into trouble, they wouldn't be able to help hardly at all.

I know, this seems all too ridiculous, and you're all used to being greater distances away from your families, but things are a little different where I'm from.

 

Aww D: Im sorry Cloud. Some parents are like that here, my grandparents are deffiantly like that to me -.-...I dont listen to them though >.>...

i drove my mom up the wall but compared to normal kid lives i had a boring life >.< i never even climbed a tree before....

lol, I love jumping off those things. Once I went to those slopes where they have single "seats" (not really seat, just holders u put between ur legs and they drag u up :/) Anyways, I slipped and the thing kept on pulling me between my legs. (If ur a guy...it hurts liek hell)

BTW, never snowboard a double black during a blizzard...It's horrible...

Umm...you know how people break in new objects so they are more usable, or so that you know how it works? Think something similar with my parents; I made it so they know how a kid works, acts and thinks. And they really didn't have a clue til after I broke a few things.
