One of my favorite movies of all time.
I did some artwork for it a while back but I never finished it and sadly I doubt I never will.
Good news though is that I'm working on a lengthy project for Figure Study and threw this picture in the mix

So with any luck this time I'll actually have a Sweeney Todd picture that I can say I finished.

Well there's nothing wrong with that honestly, as long as you finish more projects than you don't finish. I mean most everything I work on I spend multiple hours to several days on at a time. Afterwards I tend to just feel drained after a big profile piece that requires a lot of my time, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

I'm total opposite, if I finish something that took a long time, I feel pumped (or sometimes tired depending on how late I stayed up finishing it)

    I have no
social life, my activity here is decreased because of... really I just visit less because this place is less active. :/ I get bored of comming back to find nobody posted

I have a mix of going out, my friend's being over here and getting distracted by them on MSN <_< >_>

And I had the same trouble with the whole coming back to see no one posted thing. Or I come back and people have posted but there's nothing I can add that will really matter as they've all been gone around 6 hours and it wasn't a real conversation anyway ><

At the moment I do believe I'm going to be working on a picture of Randy Orton of the WWE.
I'm hoping to incorporate all 4 of these pictures together.

True the tattoo will more than likely be the hardest part to incorporate but I can do it.

Why yes, everything I do is done by hand using H & B pencils on 14 X 17 or 18 X 21 vellum paper, it helps better for shading.

I generally like to make the basic outlines and fague details with a 2H then I go back with my HB or B and start shading in all the details. From there I go back in with higher grades of Bs, sometimes H's if I need crisp details and work them in. What can I say I love my details.

That's really amazing, I can draw with traditional media, but I don't think I would ever be that good.
Do you use smudging to blend the shading, and what do you use to smudge if you do?

Oh well I just put down a layer of whatever level of shade I want (H or B) even it out a bit and either take a blending cloth, which you can buy at an art supply story, or an ordinary tissue and blend them manually.
It's better than blending with your fingers, because as my mentor told me the oils in your skin tend to destroy the piece after while and it doesn't do as good a job as the others.

Also making sure you keep a piece of paper under your drawing hand helps as well, because if you don't you may tend to smudge the parts of the picture you've already shaded with that same hand.
