Im no computer wiz, but Im trying to help out. : D

Okay, since there is no thread of acutally PREVENTING your computer from ****ing up and your parents going Apeshit, I shall do this.

1.Check if Microsoft sites work, or sites that offer protection from spyware and viruses. The Conflick virus PREVENTS you from going on these sites.

2.If you have it and it's started, use a proxy and go download a anti-malware protecter, like Malwarebytes anti-malware (This program works wonders, trust me)

3.The virus checks all credit card numbers and bank accounts, and DELETES all files, yes ALL of them, even your porn ones (jk, but yes..if you have one, you sick *******, it happens.)

4.And dont try disconnecting the internet or turning of your computer...it activates as soon as you turn it on, even after April fools.

For more Info, go to these sites for help, they might have links to help:

www.Microsoft.com will help,it will tell you from there what to do.

    D: sorry...

I fixed the links and it should work now, If not...scan your computer just in case and see. Or just go to microsoft.com and see if it works

The first one does not work now, werid. It was working in the spam zone thread, and I copied it right this time. :/

Actually...it is not a virus but a worm that doesn't need people to move it around....the best way to check is:

    One Way to Check:
    1) Click on the start button.
    2) Find the control Panel.
    3) Go to Security Center.
    4) Find the Automatic Updates.
    5) If your Automatic Updates are off and you knew that you had them on you might have it.

    The Other Way to Check:
    1) Open up Internet Explorer.
    2) Click on the Tools Button on the top somewhere.
    3) Click on the Windows Update Button.
    4) And if your computer downloads the site and lets you update, you don't have the Worm.
