I immediantly thought of making Eden the Fairy Godmother. She just fit the role.

Now I'm kinda stuck on the roles when it comes to the adults. (you know, the step mother and the original parents)
Ironicly I was immediantly thinking Cloud and Aerith as the original parents and Tifa as the stepmother.

That is a bit of toughie, do make Cloud and Aerith are the original parents, but find someone different from Tifa to be the stepmother.
