    ...are becoming WAYYYY overpopular.

Seriously. I loved their music before they were known in the preppy girls iPods.
It's such a shame to know people who only like two of their songs and such. =(
Who here likes their first CD (move along)?

I have Move Along, and I like it. Thing is, they're not too popular in Canada.

But Canada's awesome, so it makes up for it. ^^

Move Along, It Ends Tonight, and Dirty Little Secret are now their most popular songs, the songs that everyone sings along to in the car.

And I hate that those are the only three REALLY known songs. But yeah, they're amazing songs. ^^

I personaly thought Night Drive was one of the best songs on the album.

    *SQUEE* I KNOW!

Same with the song Hey There Delilah. I liked that song a lot around December of last year, and now everyone loves it. I used to be one of the only ones who liked alternative music.

My Paper Heart, Swing Swing, and Move Along are pretty good.

I liked "Night Drive" and "Change Your Mind" as two top favorites when I first got it.

And then I turned towards "Dance Inside" and "Top Of The World" :3

but the last three songs I'm not as close to.
I'm Waiting (sort of a Kairi song)
Straightjacket Feeling (although that's a really Roxas song)
Can't Take It (it's definately not one of my favorites, but it's good)

I know, I like "My Paper Heart" and "Swing Swing" off the new album.
But seriously, hey there delilah is INCREDIBLY popular. it's been out how long, and now everyone knows the lyrics? It's kind of hurtful to real fans that everyone really only loves one song. :P

    Okie, first off:
People can like whatever music they want, and maybe you don't know about a girl is ****ing preppy.
And I don't really like to think that you like them, if you care what kind of other people that listen to it. Listen to the music to figure out if the band is any good. Don't look at the fans to judge the bands music.

I think it's great that they are having succsess, and yeah did you know bands in nowdays are actually trying to be popular you see, that's how they make money.

Let people like whatever music they want, without you getting 'offended' by what they like. Music taste is perosnal, it's not something you decide for everyone else.

To stay on topic: I do like their first CD it was okay, pretty good actually.

^ I think she was pissed a little more by the people that are just downloading one or two of their songs and claimed to be huge fans.

Anyway, Dirty Little Secret was okay until MTV started to whore it. Then it just got annoying. Swing, Swing is okay.

^ Kind of off topic, but Panic! delayed their next themed album until 2008.

Off topic: I want that Panic! Cd.

Misty's right. Not trying to offend anyone, but seriously. I didn't like how people at my school started saying stuff like "OMG I LOVE AAR" and they only downloaded two of their songs.

First CD was definately one of my faves though. I've only heard a few from the new one, so I don't really know what it's about.
I can't say I'm a huge PANIC! fan either, but I love two of their songs and Pete Wentz is pretty good at singing and an O.K. bassist. (off topic.)

Move Along was their second album. Their self-titled album was their first.

I have both albums, and they are a good band, they haven't been whored to much in the UK.

I do have to agree with Kairi and her statement. It seems like you are mad at the band for being 'too mainstream' now and mad at people who like 2 of their hits that are popular. Now, think a moment that the songs are breakthrough songs for them and wow, they got attention, doesn't sound so off from their normal stuff and they are getting good money so they can keep producing music. Also think for a moment that some of those people that just know 2 songs may like the music so much that they look back into the former music of the band and find more they enjoy. You can't know these people didn't do that, whether they are being looked at by you as stereotypical 'preppy' girls or not. It's to me saying that just because they like a couple songs that they aren't true fans. Who's to judge? Right about now, anyone that actually -buys- a cd or mp3 or goes to concerts is a true fan of artists.

At least they didn't do what Metallica did after the Black album where their whole sound changed for money. They still are the same band and I love their new stuff and old stuff.

I'm not in the mood to defend myself. Think what you want, all I'm saying is that I think the true fans should be called true fans, and that the people who only like a few songs aren't really fans.

I'm steriotypical. I live in the steriotypes. Big deal? Everyone who knows me knows that I don't mean what I say.

I just don't like people saying they love them when they only know two songs. They eventually broaden their horizons to more songs.

Wouldn't the cd "All-American Rejects" be called "The All-American Rejects-EP." Just because usually EP's are the first cd you make. Move Along was a bigger hit 'till recently. Well, for people in Ohio anyways.
