The Age of the Heart

Gexln turned to look at the castle, murmuring something about the fairy being right. He began pacing.

OOC: i'm out of ideas XD

 

Auran's jaw tightened. "If Istar's death means your death as well, i will protect both of you with my life" He said sternly, looking at Alice

 

Nevan sighed, "Well...there's one way you can be of help miss. Where are we?" "Oh my, this is Enchanted Dominion. A world with our very own Princess of Heart, Aurora." Dragging a hand through his hair, Nevan shook his head, "A world with a Princess of Heart...I'm in over my head. Do you know where I can find Lady Alice of Lladrana?" "Oh yes, she's the kind young woman traveling with Auran. Oh, they're off in Radient Garden." Nevan's face dropped, "You have to be kidding me."

Istar grumbled, "Great, we have hero-boy on our side. I don't need protecting! i can take care of myself!" "Says the man who came to me for help. A girl. Who's family he killed." She gave him a hard glare and Istar wilted a bit, "I'm not saying I haven't made mistakes in the past...but I can take care of myself. I DID kill Reaper Margaret!" Alice's glare grew cold and he shut up.

 

In a blur, Auran was in front of Istar and holding him in the air by the front of his shirt. "Im not protecting you for your sake, im doing it so Alice doesnt die!" He grumbled at Istar

 

Gexln had never heard of the princesses of heart. His curiousity was aroused. "Princess of Heart? Sounds..weak" he said emotionlessly. He then sighed. "Radiant Garden is a fairly long distance away..it would take some time to get there" he stated. An idea formed in his mind. "Now, if only there was someone able to wield the darkness that can make portals out of nothing. Just imagine how useful that would be" he said sarcastically, casually pacing back and forth with a sly grin on his face.

 

Nevan leaned on one leg and watched Gexln pace. "O-kay, Mr. Gexln of the Darkness. These "portals of Darkness" easy, no? Unless you're worried this Auran guy will stand up for Istar and you won't be able to fight. Interdimensional pathways between the worlds aren't necessarily hard to travel for one such as me. After all....how did I get here?" Nevan's patience was wearing thin, "I need to get to Istar to kill him..." He turned and started whistling the song Philistine.

Istar glowered down his nose at Auran, "Again with this guy...Listen buddy, I couldn't care less who you're protecting. Me, Alice, even a random cat! I'm saying, I don't need your protection, even if it is for Alice's life. I die, she dies, everbody wins except you; which is how I like it!" His golden eyes blazed with insanity. "That's enough Istar. Auran leave him alone. He has problems." Alice touched her hands to Auran's arm, "I'd rather find Nevan before he finds us. Having the upper hand to reason with him would be better for us."

 

Gexln chuckled coldly. "Auran? I can handle Auran. Istar? I can handle Istar. No idea who it is, but i can take down anyone if i try hard enough. Get me to them, and i can guarantee you they won't live to see another day. So, shall you make the portal or shall i?" he asked, his patience dying quickly.

 

"What do I look like? Someone who belongs to the dark? Be my guest." Nevan sighed and waited for Gexln to create the portal. Margaret's voice echoed in Nevan's head. "Reaper, Reaper, that's what people call me! Why? 'Cause they all die! When I sing, I end their lives You act as though payback makes you a noble man Is that a fact? Well, you're a goddamn Philistine! Requiem eternal Bullets fly through the sternum Lullaby to Hell, babe Reaper's got your name! Margaret is Greek, you geek It means 'a pearl'; I'm a pure girl Boys cannot crack this oyster shell, so go on Whip around that sword like you're the best; it's a such a bore Another hero! Oh, please!' Soon he was humming the song.

 

Gexln rolled his eyes. "And they say i'm lazy" he stated bluntly as he held out his left arm and created a corridor of darkness. "Let the hunt begin" he said with a sly smirk on his face as he walked through, emerging in Radiant Garden.

 

Nevan grinned as he followed Gexln. "Well it's good to see someone else was raised as I was." Radiant Garden flourished to him. The brilliant colors and peace washed over him. "Place sure is nice..." he wrinkled his nose at the flowers, "My hayfever allergies are going to be going crazy."

 

"Radiant Garden..sure has been a while since i was here" he said, voice trailing off once more. He then looked at the flowers and bright colours. "Ah, and still as disgusting as it was back then" he stated. He shrugged his shoulders. "Things can't be helped..so where would you suggest looking for Istar first?" he asked.

 

Auran dropped Istar to the ground, his eyes darkening as he turned to Alice. "If what i can sense is true, he's already here, and Gexln is here too, looks like we are in for a wild ride." He said softly, looking carefully out the window.

 

Nevan stifled a sneeze and summoned his bow. "We don't find him...he finds us. Like this.." Firing a burning blue arrow into the sky, he watched it burst into flames in the sky. The flames twisted into a shape of what seemed to be a celtic cross in the sky. "All set."

Alice panicked, "Istar, no! You're not going out there. Neither you nor Auran are going out there. I'll go. Nevan won't hurt me. Margaret was my master." "Alice, this is my problem. What did I tell you about letting me do my job and not getting in my way. You're being just as stupid and stubborn as you were five hundred and seventy-three years ago!"

 

Gexln watched as the arrow exploded. "Ah nice technique you have there. I wonder if i could ever develop something like that..i suppose it's possible. Oh well, i'll try some other time. For now..." he said as he tightened his grip on Darkness' Sorrow, "i'm ready to kill something" he said grimly.

OOC: Unsure how much i'll be posting. My concentration's shot as i'm a little down right now. Got rejected for a VA project.

 

Moth places Docyx on the floor and rests for a minuet. "hmmm... Where shall we go"org said to herself. "well I can't keep carrying you around i have stuff I need to do." Moth pulls out a map and gazes at it. "well there's a town not far from here maby there's an inn there we can stay in while I'm waiting for you to wake up." Moth puts the map away and pulls out a bottle of water and drinks some before putting the bottle to Docyxs mouth and forcing him to drink. She puts it away and Once more picks Docyx up and starts walking in the direction of the town on her map

 

Auran looked at Istar, then to Alice. "He's right, its his fight, but im going with him, i know Gexln, and i know if Istar dies, you do too, and i cant lose anyone else..." Auran said as he lifted his hood up, and summoned his mighty sword, holding it with both hands.

 

Istar patted Alice's shoulder, "C'mon Auran...time for a little fun." He pushed past Auran and mumbled to him, "There's not large chance of us surviving this. Nevan is a good fighter and whomever this Gexln guy is, I'm sure he's no amatur."

Nevan sneezed again, "C'MON! Istar, you want to fight me or let me sneeze to death!"

 

"Sneezing to death? Not too likely. What if i told you there was a way to get rid of your sneezes in mere moments?" Gexln questioned.

 

Auran walked up to Alice and kissed her lightly on the lips. "Stay safe" He said quietly, and as he caught up with Istar, said to him. "Shall we meet up with Fate then? Ill lend my Inhuman speed to you now for the battle ahead" He said as he stopped Istar, pulled a glowing knife out of his belt, and carved a rune into Istar's shoulder, "Now you have my speed" He said as he walked forward

 

Moth enteres the town and looks at the sign. "hmmm radiant gardens. This'll do." She proceeds to walk to the inn she stays at while in town and asks for two rooms. The inn keeper smiles and gives her two keys " is that all dear?" she asks kindly. "yes thank you ma'am" Moth replys quietly befor going up the stairs and placing Docyx in one of the beds and making sure hes comfortable before taking the other for herself and falling asleep.
