The Age of the Heart

"Hmph...a bunch of children if you ask me... I'd rather keep the secrets of my heart a secret. Wouldn't you agree...Alice?" Istar shot a knowing look at Alice's blonde head. Her smile faded and suddenly she looked rather sad.

 

Auran, sensing something going on, moves a little away and sits down, putting his hood back on

 

"Look at what you've done! Dammit Istar, would you just shut up!" Alice slapped him and knelt beside Auran, "Auran...? Are you alright? Istar's got a lot of secrets. My secrets are more....like shameful events in history."

 

"When you speak like that, i feel like im with strangers, i hardly know anything about you..." Auran said quietly.

 

Alice smiled, "What did you expect? I'm around...a thousand and sum years old. I'm...a lot older than you Auran. Being a Keyblade Master gives me the power to travel through time and freeze my biological timeline. I...will never be older than this."

 

"So your... Immortal?" Auran said shakily

 

Alice laughed sweetly, "A bit you can say. Though if you stab me I will die. I just...won't age or die in time. It's not all that great. I mean, I look about eighteen."

 

Auran looked up to the roof. "Great, so ill age and eventually die, and you'll never age..." He said, with a sarcastic laugh

 

"Nice, after all we've been through with this idiot killing me, NOW he's got a problem with how weird you are? Awesome!" Istar groaned and Alice frowned, "I...didn't know this was such a problem...I suppose...I could find a way to ...un-freeze it. Though I'm sure that would kill me... Auran, I'm not asking you to stay with me forever...I would appreciate your help inside Kingdom Hearts nevertheless."

 

"Im sorry, Im just confused at the moment" Auran said as he moved so quickly that it was like a blur, to stand in front of Alice, looking her in the eyes.

 

Alice gave him a sad little smile, "Things will always be confusing with me. But what about you? Mr. Oddball. You're not exactly human yourself."

Auran gave Alice a wry smile. "And whats that meant to mean?" He said as he kissed her quickly.

 

Alice relished in his kiss and mumbled, "You know exactly what it means."

Auran's lips parted from Alice's. "I do?" He said, one eyebrow nearly disappearing into his dark green hair as he raised it.

 

Elsewhere, a dark being stirred from his sleep. Gexln had no recollection of much of the fight with the giant heartless he'd been attacking earlier. The last thing he remembered was attacking it once, getting hit and then just..blank. How long have i been knocked out for? What's happened while i HAVE been unconscious? And- he stopped midthought and reached down, feeling around for Darkness' Sorrow. His hand clutched around the familiar handle. He breathed a sigh of relief. "Ok..now where did that heartless get off to?" he asked, thinking out loud.

Gexln stood up. A familiar song played in his head. The smallest hint of a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. "A fitting song indeed" he said. He began walking off, singing "Monster" by his favourite band, Skillet, as he walked.

 

Istar groaned, "Get a room!" Alice smiled, ignoring Istar, "You're not human Auran. Anyone can see that."

Personality: Nevan enjoys a casual fight and is usually a good boy...until faced with a challenge that might be stronger than him. The beast in him is much more violent than the gentel man on the outside.
Bio: Nevan came from Torque, a country on Amee. The same planet that Alice came from. Nevan searches for Alice's ex-fiance, Istar, as the bounty on his head from their homeworld is more than enough to keep him wealthy and feeling good for the remainder of his life. Having come from the Sea Country of Torque, he also considers himself a bounty hunter as a good judge of character. (Though he usually sucks at judging people.)

A boy pushed himself off a building he'd been leaning on and smirked. "Some day... How long will you run from me, Heartless?" he mumbled to himself. Blue eyes lit on a trail of darkness and he scowled, brushing blue hair from his face, "Oh...COME ON! I don't have time to be chasing after some Heartless! Things to do...people to find...stuff to break!" Flinging out his hand, a long bow 'n' arrow formed in his hand and blue fire covered the arrow he pulled back.

 

Gexln stopped. He could sense someone. He wasn't quite sure where they were, who they were, or what they were doing, but they were certainly close. He could feel it. He focused his eyesight up ahead, and he could see a man there with a bow ready and an arrow. The arrow puzzled Gexln though. It appeared to be on fire. Not any ordinary fire, blue fire. This should be interesting, he thought to himself. He took a few more steps forward. "Interesting technique you have there. Mind if i asked where you learnt it?" he asked, trying to sound as casual as possible.

 

"Hmm?" Nevan glanced behind him and frowned, I didn't sense him behind me before...odd. Narrowing his eyes, Nevan let loose his arrow into the sky and watched it descend with a scowl. "Time...patience...and a long time spent with a young Master Keyblade wielder." He turned and lifted one eyebrow up as he studied Gexln, "It's not something a Keyblade wielder can learn. Not to mention one that reeks of darkness like you." Nevan's words were harsh but his tone was light...gentle almost.
