The Age of the Heart

Auran's body started to levitate and glow with a blue light, blue as the ocean, when suddenly his eyes burst open, pure blue as the light, as he screamed unearthly and fell back into unconsciousness

 

Nova shivered...more or less from her side of the poison and Istar grumbled. Alice whimpered and inched herself closer to Auran. "Seems to me...these two aren't going to be apart until one is dead..." "All the better...lets kill the stupid boy before he wakes up." Nova's katana clashed against one of Istar's heavy blades before it crashed down on Auran's body. "I'll kill you before you have a chance to hurt the one Alice has chosen." He grunted and his sword disappeared, "Chosen? For what? Revitalizing Lladranna? Don't make me laugh, Nova."

 

Auran opened his eyes slowly and sat up. As he saw Alice he hugged her tightly, his pure blue eyes locked in hers. "how long was i unconscious??" He asked, looking at them all

 

Sasuke ignored the comment about killing him. He saw Moth as no threat to himself. He merely stood and waited.

Meanwhile, Gexln was struggling with the Dark Dragon. No matter what he seemed to do, the Dark Dragon just seemed to shake off the attacks like they were nothing. Once more, Gexln skidded to a halt evading the attack as a small cloud of dust appeared around him from the sheer speed. He looked up at the dragon-like heartless. Forgetting about Sasuke almost completely, Gexln voiced his thoughts out loud. "If it's taken this long, i doubt anyone is coming to help" he said quietly. He grinned slyly at the huge heartless. "Looks like it's just you and me" he stated. Gexln was on his last legs now. He had run out of ideas, trying everything but one. He had often heard of Nobodies putting their entire being into an attack, but had never even considered doing it himself. The possibility that he would attempt it was becoming more likely by the second. Gexln spat onto the ground. Suddenly an idea came into his mind.
He shrugged his shoulders. A drastic idea, and a little violent. But, desperate times call for desperate measures he thought to himself. He summoned the Shadow Keyblade once more into his right hand, still gripping his blade with his left. With a bloodcurdling roar, he ran straight at the Dark Dragon. The Dark Dragon, in response, ran at Gexln. Both monsters intended to end it there and then.

 

Moth sat by Docyx and looked away from Sasuke turning her gaze towards the stars and sighing sadly golden eyes full of sadness and regret.

 

Nova stood and shoved Istar out of the way, "Not long. Listen to me Auran. Alice needs you. And I need you to take Istar along with you. I have buisness to attend to. Istar has nothing of importance." she glared at him as he snorted. "Right...except stopping my precious Alice from revitalizing a civilization that was destroyed thousands of years ago."

 

Auran nodded at Nova as he spoke "Where will we go?" He said as he glared at Istar

 

Nova stood, "To Kingdom Hearts. The door has been open for some time and I'm quite late. Alice needs to see what happens there too. Istar....well for the sake of any Gods that we know, it might just open your eyes again." She leaned down to Auran and kissed his cheek, barely a huff of her breath, "If you make Alice cry again I'll be back and I will kill you." she smiled sweetly and touched Alice's head, "Sleep well, baby sister." Nova backed away from them and disappeared into a dark corridor. Istar brushed off his clothes and glared at them, "Well...now I'm stuck with this guy and my ex-fiancee...GREAT!"

 

"This guy, has a name, and if i were you, i wouldnt try any funny business" Auran said as he glared at Istar while flicking a dagger between his fingers

 

Istar glowered at him and gestured to Alice, "I'd be careful with that if I were you. You might hurt Alice. Plus I have no interest in dying before I see Nova's little plan."

Alive....that was what she felt in her dream. Alice wandered her Station of Awakening....observing the darkened parts of her heart and the bright spots. Much before she knew where her heart ended it fell away to darkness. "How could I have let this happen..."

 

"Watch it, im not gonna hurt Alice but i'll hurt you" Auran said, putting the dagger back into his belt.

 

Istar groaned and nudged Alice's foot, "C'mon...wakey wakey!"

Alice sat at the edge of her heart and stared at the darkness that was taking over. "Is this what I get for helping Vanitas out all those years ago? To feel the same darkness I felt in him now in my heart...I must atone." Determination made her stand up and rumage through her pockets.

 

"Let her sleep" Auran said, stabbing a knife into Istar's foot

 

Istar growled and turned his head away from them as sand leaked out of his boot. "You'd better not tell Alice about this." He crouched and pulled the dagger out. Alice's eyelids fluttered but remained closed.

Alice lifted a dark red charm from her pocket and tossed it into the light of her heart, "Vanitas! You filth, get your treasonous masked face over here!" After a few minutes Vanitas, in his weird black and red tight suit and mask appeared before her, "You called? Lemme guess...you want out of our pact." she nodded.

 

"Whatever, freaking sandman" Auran mumbled to himself as he watched Alice

 

Istar shook his head, "What you call the sandman....Alice will call a magicite creature."

Alice and Vanitas glared at eachother for a moment before Vanitas' crazed laughter filled the air, "I wouldn't let you out of our deal if I was dead! Which...I am. So no. You keep me alive Alice....since the moment I was separated from Ventus. You'll never get rid of me!" Alice smiled, "Oh, but I can. My heart isn't a battlefield...but I know of a heart that is. Yours."

Istar noticed Alice's fingers twitching and reached into her pocket.

 

"And is that why i can tell her your made of sand?" Auran asked, looking amused

 

Istar glowered at him as he pulled out a small shard from Alice's pocket, "Yes....this is magicite...it's from Lladranna. I stole a shard from the Dawn Stone before I was to marry Alice...it turned me into this...gave me my powers...and...raged beyond my control...it destroyed Lladranna and I took the blame for it.

Noroz and Sakura wandered about. Noroz could sense darkness all around him so he was very aware.
"Can you please explain to me what that was back there?" Sakura asked.
"I'd rather not..." Noroz replied. "I'll explain it to you later, alright?"
"I want to know damnit!" Sakura was yelling at him.
"I know, and I'm sorry I can't tell you," he responded, calm as ever.
"GAH" Sakura slapped him.
"I deserved that," Noroz said. "But please, just wait."
"Damnit Noroz, alright, but you will tell me when we're done with this!
"I will. I Promise," Noroz said, as several heartless appeared.
"But for now, we've gotta take care of these guys" he said, taking his Keyblade off his back.

 

"Wait, if you stole the shard, then isnt it your fault? And you spoke about revitalizing Lladranna, what do i have to do with that?" Auran said, eyeing off the shard in Istar's hand
