The Age of the Heart

For a brief moment, Gexln gained control. "DON'T YOU THINK I'M TRYING?!" He snapped. The beast then gained control over him once more, and returned to its dragonlike form. "Stop encouraging that useless coward!" it snapped as it attempted to bite Auran with its sharp fangs. It spun around quickly in an attempt to hit Noroz, in a similar way that a baseball bat would hit a baseball.

 

"You wont win!! The Gexln i know is always stronger than the darkness!!" Auran said as he dodged the fangs, and continued to lunge at him, striking his shoulders with Aurans claws

 

Noroz takes a direct hit to his torso from Dark Gexln and is thrown back into the air. **** that hurt! On the way back into the air, however, he lunged both the keyblades at him.

 

"THE GEXLN YOU KNOW IS NEVER COMING BACK!" the beast yelled, howling in pain as the claws struck it in the shoulder. It quickly leapt up into the air, intending to come crashing down on top of Auran. No....LEAVE THEM ALONE! Gexln screamed inside, inching closer to full control over the beast.

 

Auran dodged the beast once more and roared "Thats it Gexln, you almost got it!!"

 

The beast roared once more, now struggling to maintain control. "I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S A COWARD!" Gexln yelled, gaining control over the beast. The darkness dissolved, going back into Gexln's body. He had done it. He had gained full control over his darkness. Exhausted, Gexln passed out, collapsing on the ground.

 

OOC: Rewriting this
IC: Noroz saw Gexln collapsed on the ground. Thank G - Noroz suddenly blacked out and fell towards the ground.

 

Auran flew over to where Gexln lay, and turned back into his original form. He picked Gexln up and looked at Noroz "damn, looks like i gotta carry both of them" He said as he threw Noroz over his shoulder and created a dark portal to Traverse town where Alice and Ada lay asleep

 

Noroz woke before going through the portal. "I can walk myself." He said, rather rudely. He created a portal of light and walked through it.

 

Gexln regained consciousness, but lacked the strength to move. He saw himself being carried. "NO! PUT ME DOWN!" he yelled hysterically, still not completely mentally recovered from his struggle with the darkness.

 

"Fine walk then... " Auran said to Noroz, then he looked at Gexln "HEY stop squirming, its only me, your badly hurt from that fight!"

 

Gexln stopped squirming, choosing to instead just lay there, unable to move.

 

"Thats better" Auran said as he carried Gexln through the dark corridor where Alice and Ada lay, then he sat Gexln down beside them

 

Gexln laid down on the ground, still exhausted. "Man i can't believe i let it control me like that" he stated.

 

Noroz walked a distance away from the two. I'm not to be taken care of, I'm a caretaker he thought to himself. He noticed the injuries he had received in the battle. Damn it! he thought as he entered his portal. He arrived in Traverse Town and saw Ada sleeping peacefully. Worth it. He though as he coughed up blood and collapsed on Ada's chest.

"Hey it all gets the better of us sometimes" Auran said, then he noticed Noroz "Damn! Noroz" He said as he watched Noroz cough up blood and collapse on Ada's chest

 

"You don't understand. My element IS darkness...and it controlled ME!" he shouted angrily.

 

"Calm down, you need to conserve your energy, and i used a lot when i turned into whatever the hell that was, i guess its my Ultima" Auran said
