The Age of the Heart

"I cant. It's a memory." She screams at the voice." I leave and we go back out into the worlds out side. They will all still be dead nothing will have changed. Dad will still have died saveing me and I will still be being consumed by the shadows." she yells tears pouring down her face. "Besides. It won't do any good. This is a battle I will always lose. She wins always. This one and ones in her future I canot prevent it. It is enevatable." she says quietly. The fight continues a blurring battle of light and dark. "I will kill you Lunaris it's obvious." Solaris laughs attacking. "Its Moth." the younger shouts. "So sentimental. The little nicknames mother gave you when she went mad. Perhaps I should go around known as butterfly then. Pathetic. You will always be little brown boring moth. The powers of the sun and moon and their blades shall be mine." Solaris screams attacking with more anger and hate than before. Moth turns to defensive style of fighting.

Moth looks a her younger self beginning to lose against her sisters angry tirade. "Fine." She says angrily she lifts the blades up and points them at her. Closes her eyes and wills the power to her younger self.

 

*at that same moment Docyx notices a crack in the worlds 'door' after following the heartless lifting his keyblade at the same time as moth he starts to repare it*

 

A silver beam of light comes from the tip of the blade and goes into Moth. The younger her looks around and sees her older self for the first time. "We will talk later. Deal with her first." the older says. The younger nods and turns to Lunaris and Sumons a solar blast and fires it at her sister who collapses on the ground the tendrils of darkness no longer helping her but slicing and cutting at her flesh before disapeering leaving her a bloodied mess on the ground. Moth sends away her blades and goes up to her other self. "Hello." she says

 

*At the time Moth's sister was beaten Docyx manages to fix the crack in the door* that should stop the darkness, I think this maybe it here now

 

The older moth turns to her younger counterpart and says." Come on let's talk away from prying eyes if you can see me everyone else can. We had better go to our favourite place and talk there." the younger looks puzzled. "Ok you know the way." she says before going in that direction. "So tell me about myself." the younger asks when they reach the forest of hands and teeth.

 

now *Docyx said to himself* where do I go from here?

 

The two Moths come to their destination and sit. "So how did you get here." the younger asks. "Well i was helping a friend find himself in his mind and we came to mine. But I have no idea how." Moth says quietly. "Is you friend here?" the younger asks. "Yes. Please know that I can't tell you anything about your future." the older speaks. "Ok. Shall we go find your friend." the younger says at the ground playing with some grass. "Probly a good idea." she stands and walks towards the cave where she left Docyx. The younger follows

 

*Docyx sences that Moth has gained new light and here home is safe* It seems we did a good job, all Moth had to learn is that even the past can become lighter, all she had to do was try

 

The moths enter the cave where Docyx is. "Docyx meet me." the older says. The younger hides behind her hair and runs to the wall reacting the patterns. "So what now?" the older asks watching her counterpart with interest before following and doing the same.

 

*Docyx moves out of the shadows meeting Moth's eyes* is it over then?

 

"Hmm..." she says and nods affermatively

 

Auran nodded and smiled "Yeah, i will" He said confidently

Genesis sheathed his sword and huffed, turning away from them.

Alice felt her face drop and tears fall from her eyes freely. Nothing she could do....would stop the tears....

Nova patted her head gently and mumbled, "Don't cry Alice. You want him to remember your smile, don't you? It's time..." Alice forced herself to smile and rubbed at her tears, even though more replaced the one's she wiped away, "Yeah... Auran...I'm so sorry. I've enjoyed the time we spent together, fighting Heartless...and my fiance...Nevan...and Mithos. I will always remember you for what you've done for me. You taught me how to smile again. I don't want to forget that lesson, so I'll hold it close in my heart as I pray you will. What I mean to say is...this......is goodbye."

Nova waved a two fingered salute to him and backed toward the light of Kingdom Hearts, "We have to go...and bring this light to some other universe. This world...this universe...doesn't need it so close anymore. We'll return to Lladranna and Kingdom Hearts will go back to being how it was...without our interference. I'm...uh, sorry we put you through all that stuff..."

Alice hesitated in following her sister and flashed one last smile for Auran, "Take care of Docyx for me. And...tell him I'm sorry I bailed again." She seemed to change her mind for a moment and ran back to him, hugging him and whispering in his ear,

"Someday...we'll meet again, I promised, remember? I don't break promises, okay, Jesse?"

 

Suddenly there's a bright light that surounds Docyx and Moth and then suddenly they are once more surrounded by the blackness of Docyxs mind

 

Auran tried his best to smile, knowing she was leaving, but in his heart he knew what she said was true, so he hugged her close and wispered back
